I'm honestly enjoying the fold 8 experience. I think the ergonomic design is really a game changer. The new dimensions is refreshing and gives you a whole different experience. There are still some apps that have not yet catched up with the change but thats ok and expected. Overall, I'm really happy moving back to Samsung. I received my Samsung Z fold 8 . I was really excited to get it. It was light and fits well in my hand. I love the size of the phone unfolded. I can watch my shows and videos just the way I want them. The features of the phone is amazing. The hinge is very strong. The thinner, lighter design compared with other Fold devices makes for a more user friendly experience whilst still offering the front screen as a quick use tool and the larger fold screen as a small tablet all in one. Ive put a 360 case on it as i will drop it and this is still no thicker than the average phone in a case. Battery so far is more than i need for heavy daily use and the speed and response is exceptional. The fold mech is strong and durable, holds firmly closed until openeded and snaps closed when finished. Best Samsung phone to date.

Battery capacity is huge and certainly lasts for a full day with constant usage, and the phone form factor is durable but worth investing in a rugged cased to protect such massive investment. Screen is bright and very responsive when folded and unfolded, really love watching videos on this phone, and more importantly choose the right case that support vertical kickstand (not just horizontal) to be sure you are most enjoying the screen view.

The size is perfect, it fits into your hand and looks right. Then you open it up and it transforms, pictures, video and books just fit the this screen ratio. The hinge works better than the Fold 7, opening easier and snaps open. The crease I have forgotten about. I didn't notice it on the Fold 7, but the screen is so much better. I never thought the Fold 7 was a slouch but the 8 seems so much more smoother and responsive. One UI 9 has some great improvements and the integration with the AI makes tasks and work flow so much easier.

Folded: Wide and compact like a passport — the 5.5-inch cover screen is way more usable one-handed for texting, scrolling, and quick tasks. Unfolded: The 7.6-inch inner screen has a near 4:3 ratio that's excellent for videos, YouTube, Netflix, and browsing with fewer black bars. The crease is much less noticeable thanks to new Flex Titanium tech, and the hinge feels solid. It’s fun to open and close. Some people might still find the thickness or sharp corners slightly awkward in tight pockets, but overall it's a huge improvement in everyday comfort.

I really loved my Flip 3, and then I got the S24 Ultra, which had an amazing camera and was a great all-around phone, though a bit big for my pocket. Now I'm on the Fold 8, and I'm super impressed with how it folds and its slim compact size, and also Samsung does the BEST trade-in deals. The screen and battery are awesome. But, I'm really let down about the camera. For this price, I expected a telephoto lens or better optical zoom. When I tried to zoom in about 15 meters, the quality was pretty bad. Samsung team, you could've made it perfect by adding another camera or better optical sensor, making it a truly outstanding product. It's a real letdown, I feel like I have a camera from 2 years ago.

The Display is fantastic and extremely clear. The Hinge in the fold is very strong but not to stiff and is easy to open. I have my Battery set to 80 percent but everyday use, it doesn't drop below 50 percent, which is miles better than my S24. This isn't a Flimsy phone, it's quite robust and feels very strong in your hand. Searching through apps, it's really quick and very responsive and you can have multiple pages and apps open at the same time. This is a great upgrade from my S24, glad I got one. You won't be disappointed 😉

The design is also very practical because it is still compact enough when folded. The only downside I have noticed so far is that when using the front screen, some apps can be a bit slow to respond. Occasionally I have had to close the app and reopen it to make it work properly again. Hopefully this can be improved with future software updates. However, in the end I opted for the Z Fold 8 because the form factor felt different. I am obsessed with how good this phone is to use just with the external screen and use that easily 80% but possibly 90% of the time. The battery is currently lasting me 2 days which is outstanding for such a small form factor. The foldable screen once opened is then truly something special. The phone is brilliantly responsive between screens and feels seamless. The camera is really only average when trying to zoom, but for normal photos of subjects nearby is perfectly acceptable.

Been loving my Galaxy Flip since the first edition and upgrading it every year. Didn't expect to say this but after experiencing the Fold8 hands-on, it seems it's time to switch it up. Much slimmer and lighter than I expected, sitting super well in one hand. The real magic was unfolding it (unexpectedly I do appreciate that extra screen space) which made my little scroll through my favourite dog content so much better. Always loved how the Flex Mode on my Flip made every selfie session with my niece and dog so much more fun (and stable) by using the main camera and outside screen and now with the Fold8 camera... chef's kiss :)

And I am so glad I did. The form factor is far better, it's lighter, the display is epic, the crease is nearly non-existent, the battery is superb and holding the device in the hand is great. It's easily pocketable and is very snappy to use, very responsive and so far, I cannot say enough great things about it. I had questions about the camera but for standard photography, I really can't complain. I don't use a zoom lens so I don't miss the added camera in the Fold 8 Ultra. Superb all round device!

But, it is still lacking a few essential things, as it doesn't have magnetic wireless charging capability despite the fact it doesn't have a pen like the Ultra that apparently is the cause for not introducing this feature in the first place, it is not coming with a a screen protector for the external display as it used to, no ultra fast charger in the box as the old chargers are not ultra fast charging but barely 10-15 W, the battery doesn't last more than the previous models or any S models. Overall it is not worth the full price but if you can get a good discount then it is a good purchase.

For my experience very excellent for fold 8 dahil ang dali nya lang dalhin at ang ganda nyang panooran... grabe din yung design nakuha ni samsung yung talagang need ng mga client sa palagay ko dahil sulit yung mga features na meron to lalo na kung mahilg ka manood ng movie or mag basa dhil sa mga AI na meron sya mas mapapadala narin yung ginagawa mo. Dagdag pa dito meron silang bago yung Fan Cam for video editing na maenjoy mo lalo na kung my mga favorite Character kang gustong gusto mo panoorin... kht sa labas at loob ng bahay unstable yung viewing dahil mataas na brightness nito... for me is a good and nice.
I upgraded to the Galaxy Z Fold 8 after using the Fold 7, and I have been genuinely impressed with the improvements. I already enjoyed the Fold 7, but the Fold 8 feels like a much more complete and refined device. The battery life is outstanding, particularly considering the size and capability of the phone. The silicon-based battery technology used in this generation makes a noticeable difference, and I can comfortably use the phone throughout the day without constantly thinking about charging. The inner screen is amazing for watching videos, browsing social media and viewing Reels. Once unfolded, it gives you that almost "Ultra" experience, with a large, immersive display that makes consuming content much more enjoyable than on a conventional phone. It is also excellent for multitasking and working across several apps. At the same time, Samsung has made the outside screen wide enough to be genuinely useful on its own. For everyday use, I can quickly reply to messages, comfortably type, browse and watch videos without needing to open the phone every time. Then, whenever I want the larger experience, I simply unfold it. Another major strength is how well the apps adapt between the outer and inner displays. Samsung has clearly put a lot of work into making apps transition naturally between the two screens, and the overall software experience feels very well suited to a foldable device. For me, the Fold 8 ticks all the boxes of a well-designed premium phone: excellent battery life, a fantastic inner display, a practical outer screen, strong software optimisation and the flexibility of having both a normal phone and a small tablet in one device. Having owned both the Fold 7 and now the Fold 8, I highly recommend the Fold 8. It is an excellent device and easily one of the most enjoyable phones I have used.

I wasn't sure I would like this phone when I pre-ordered, my doubts were gone in the first hour it is so much fun, the camera is great and using it open makes it a lot better, battery lasts a long time, I love the finger print reader is on the side and not on the screen. If you are on the fence try it, you won't regret it. The hinges are great and no visible line on the screen when open. The speed is great and it is not as fragile as you think so I think it will last before I need to upgrade.

The front screen on the fold8 is perfect for 90% of use. I do multitasking on once open and it does it perfectly with 2 apps open. Only gripe I have is on apps like instagram, it doesn't respond well with me hitting the bookmark button or other types of buttons on other apps where the function sits on the far right of the screen, I believe it's a glitch for the wider format for the front screen. I assume this can be fixed with an update 🙏 other than that - perfect device. Sturdy and feels great.
