Could never get my head round it. Now a much improved and decent camera. The screen is improved and the fold barely visible. Although, to be honest, it didn't really bother me.The fold in the fold seven. It folds away much neater and feels a lot better quality than the seven. The battery fuels like it last slightly longer.Although on my previous fold seven , the battery still seemed okay. Would I recommend it?Yes, I would.It just feels a lot better phone all round.
What surprised me most is how quickly I got used to the foldable design. I expected the larger screen to be more of a novelty, but I actually use it all the time for multitasking, watching videos, and reading. The hinge feels much more refined than I expected, and opening the phone has a satisfying, solid feel without being too stiff. The outer screen is responsive and bright enough that I don’t always need to unfold it. Battery life has also been reliable for my normal day-to-day use. It’s not just a cool-looking phone the foldable format genuinely changes how I use my phone.

I've had the Z Fold8 Ultra for a few weeks now. I upgraded from the Fold6. I'm happy with the upgrade. The Fold8 Ultra is light, thin and powerful. The cameras are magnificent, battery life is great and I love the size of the main screen when opened. I do miss the S-Pen I had with the previous Fold6. The only complaint is the thickness of the camera. It protruding out of the main body quite a bit and makes it difficult or on some charger impossible to correctly place on wireless charger pads. I opted for an integrated magsafe case and upgraded my charging pads in home, office and vehicle to magsafe compatible fast chargers and have not looked back.

The battery is disappointing, I haven't been using my phone excessively and the battery is going down much quicker than I'd expected, especially on a brand new phone. I specifically chose this phone for the camera as I thought it would be better than the Pixel but some of the photos I'm taking aren't very sharp and that's not from a distance at all so I definitely expected better quality. I love the big display and you can barely see any crease at all and it's so handy for multitasking but it's not enough for me to overlook the battery and camera.

I wanted the fold 7 for so long because of the 200 mp camera. Advertised to be like the s25 and 26 ultra. I got the fold 8 ultra and the device itself is amazing. What a wonderful feature to be able to have a device and a tablet all in one. And also not to mention how slim it is. The only downside is the camera is not as good as the s25 ultra camera still. Side by side comparison of a picture between the two made me a little sad about the quality in low light.

When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

Watching YouTube videos on a larger screen and playing a few mobile games on the big screen also helps with eye strains. However, as a nitpick, I do wish the front screen was a bit bigger. I understand it would cost more, which means I will need to pay more, but I wouldn't mind it if I also get a decently bigger screen on the front. I upgraded from the S24 Ultra, so I still need to get used to the smaller screen and smaller keyboard. For a guy with big-ish hands, the small keyboard does annoy me a bit. But I guess that's a skill issue😆

The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

The folding mechanism seems more sturdy, the crease on the inner screen is basically non-existent during typical usage, and the phone is so light! It's amazing that this is so much more improved than other folding phones while being so slim and nice to hold and easy to read. I've been putting it through its paces with gaming a lot as well, and the battery has held strong and barely drains compared to previous models. I upgrade my foldable phone every year, and compared to last year's Fold 7, this year's Fold 8 Ultra doesn't feel like a significant upgrade overall. The only fan perk—the free memory upgrade for pre-orders—has been cancelled. I've had it for a few days now and what's immediately impressive is the speed of connectivity and app loading. Also I have found the multiscreen feature very useful. The display is definitely better and I can hardly tell there's a crease in the fold now. They've really improved reducing annoying light reflection on the screen so I'm not having to angle the phone away from light. This model is so much slimmer and lighter and the hinge feature makes opening out and closing much easier. The battery life is is very good if you're not heavily on your device all day. Charging doesn't seem that much faster than my previous model. The camera provides noticeable sharper detail. The one minus is that my S Pen is now redundant that was really useful with the previous models! Apart from that, I'd say this model is well worth the upgrade.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra honestly feels like the first foldable where Samsung finally stopped making compromises. Unfolding it is a total treat the inner crease is practically invisible now, and both screens get so ridiculously bright that you can actually use it outside in bright sunlight without squinting. It's surprisingly thin and comfortable to hold, but what really blew me away was the battery life; it actually lasts through a full, heavy day without me needing to hunt for a charger. Throw in a super snappy processor and a 200MP camera that takes incredible shots, and it easily earns its spot as the best phone I've ever used for multitasking and gaming.

I saw the major improvement to front screen aspect ratio and thickness in the Z Fold 7 and was super keen. Z Fold 8 Ultra continued the upgrades and made the crease less noticeable so I immediately pre ordered. Been using it for 2 weeks now and even my partner, who's using a non-android device (iykyk) is jealous. Super happy but also super excited at the direction samsung folds are going. The standard Fold 8 also doesnt fall far behind so I'm keen to try that a few generations in.

The responsiveness of the phone is impeccable and is extremely smooth, the new silicon carbon battery allows for your flagship battery life whilst making the phone slimmer, which shows in the crease now taking a huge visual decrease seen in other fold phones and also the hinge being smooth and durable to allow easy opening. And finally with the new titanium screen fitted into the screen the durability has stepped up dramatically.

It's my second time with galaxy z flip, first was flip 5 and it's already great phone for me, but still had it issues with notification to open it in least expected situations, z flip 8 still have this small problem but with bigger cover screen I can easily wipe it off from the issues list and enjoy it, hinge definitely works better with that satisfying snap while opening, crease is less visible than before even after few weeks of usage. Sharpeness and size of cover display is my favourite thing in that phone, it really looks great, battery keeps well but still need to be improved as I always have this feeling that it won't last till the end of the day and I will have to recharge it, inner screen is very bright and clear to read, with great responsiveness detecting every touch without problems, time will show of course how it will work for another year and if samsung will give me good reason to change it for another model or stay with this one.

The thing i really love for tge Z fold 8 ultra is its display. 8.0 screen plus naka 3000 nits na so mas ma enjoy mo siya ma use even your outside and direct sunlight. Plus wala na siyang glare from mga lights. Hindi na nagrereflect.Hindi nadin halata ang crease niya as in parang wala na talaga. Mas smooth na gamitin specially kong e unfold mo. Mas mataas ang durability level nito kasi mas matibay na yong flex hinge nya, mas may peace of mind ka na while using the device.. Very responsive with its 120hz. Plus naka 5000mah na yong battery. At 4.1mm unfolded it's the thinnest foldable Samsung has made, and it no longer feels like a compromise device you carry for the novelty. The 8-inch inner display is genuinely the reason to own this thing — reading, email, side-by-side work, all of it stops feeling like a phone. I recently upgraded from the Motorola RAZR plus 2024 and I've got to say, while having a similar look and feel, the overall experience is mind boggingly different. From the extra half centimetre of width to the customization, cohesiveness and ease of the Samsung family. Truly a beautiful product inside and out. The camera is amazing, the display feels ingrained and like that of a regular no flip phone. I can't attest to the durability as it is protected like fort Knox on a bad day. Battery is ok from what I've experienced so far but I assume it will get better as it learns my usage patterns.

I was honestly skeptical to upgrade, but the Z Fold 8 completely changed my mind. When it is closed, it actually feels like a normal phone. It is light, comfortable to type on, and easy to slide into a pocket. Opening it up to that huge screen never gets old, and the ugly crease from older models is pretty much gone. The battery easily gets me through a full day without stressing, and it just makes everyday stuff feel effortless. Everything feels snappy and responsive, and the screens are incredibly bright even when I am outside in direct sunlight. It feels sturdy and well-built too. Bought the 1Tb version of 8 fold ultra, loving it so far. Battery life is better compared to Fold 7 and hinge seem enhanced as well

The phone looks stunning. As a current Trifold user, I am using the Fold 8 Ultra as a secondary device to replace my Fold 6. The folding sound is deeply satisfying. The hinge feels incredibly strong, and the screen crease is barely visible right now. In terms of screen quality, weight, and overall size, it feels very similar to the Fold 7. Performance has been fast and snappy so far. I chose the Violet Shadow color and really love the aesthetic. My only complaints are that I miss having an S-Pen, and I am disappointed that there is no matching Violet Shadow case available at this moment.

I don't have to put my glasses on to see properly now as I can just open up the phone for the big screen 😆 I haven't had time to go through the many amazing things it can do but I'll keep being pleasantly surprised each day when I discover something new! My other half got the Fold 8 but it was too small for my liking, glad I got the ultra!

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
