I bought this phone a week ago. The battery life is amazing and the brightness level auto adjusts to the brightness in the room which is very nice! Over all the flip part is amazing! I am able to do my work on the.full screen and when im out and about i am able to keep the phone so it travels well. It's is not very heavy and just overall 10/10

I just received my z fold 8 ultra yesterday, the battery seems to drop quite fast when watching videos and multitasking. The hinge seems durable. The phone seems more responsive than my s25. The crease is almost invisible. Even though I have just received it yesterday, the phone seems quite durable. However, this phone is a tad heavier than my S25, I'm not quite used to it yet. It is a trade off for productivity tho. One thing that quite bother me is the quality of the speaker. I'm trading the featherweight s25 with nice speaker for a z fold 8 ultra with a huge potential of productivity and a great camera. I hope this is a good trade

It's a excellent engineering masterpiece insanely sleek and taking this genuine beauty amazes you every time you pick it up, it's made so rugged but it seems so delicate every time I use it, out of all my Z Folds I used undoubtedly this is by far the best fold. I am sure that Samsung and it's team will continue to amaze us with the coming up Fold series, I am very eager to see what more can be done to upgrade the existing Fold 8 Ultra as it already feels like a Glass sheet to use as a phone. The inside screen usable area is significantly larger and the phone is so thin both open and folded that it is hard to believe.. Great cameras were always a sacrifice you had to make when choosing a fold and that is no longer the case, the Cameras are fantastic..

I use the Microsoft suite for work, and the Fold display allowing for an on screen track pad makes editing excel and word documents so easy. The fold is hardly noticeable, but still there which should be expected. The device is strong and I have zero fears of it breaking or cracking. The phone is *so thin* and unbelievable when opened. I had the first generation and the third, fifth, and seventh. I can unequivocally state that the 8 Ultra is what us foldies have been asking for. The display is sharper that previous models and it runs anything I throw at it. Gaming, AI, Google Sheets, 3 bank apps at once; you name it I've tried it. The camera is wonderful and am glad I can trust it to take amazing pictures. The thinness makes this feel like I am using a regular brick phone but expandable! Thank you Samsung for your perseverance and not giving up on the fold design.

Liking the phne so far the only issue I am facing is battery life is not upto the mark considering heavy usage and flagship model, even with a normal day to day use battery is not enough to last for a day long.

The Display is probably my favourite part, its big and bright and makes watching videos and multitasking much better. Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from Galaxy Z Fold6 Ultra 256GB to Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra 256GB so missed out the features from the previous iteration of the model for comparison. I've had it for a few days now and what's immediately impressive is the speed of connectivity and app loading. Also I have found the multiscreen feature very useful. The display is definitely better and I can hardly tell there's a crease in the fold now. They've really improved reducing annoying light reflection on the screen so I'm not having to angle the phone away from light. This model is so much slimmer and lighter and the hinge feature makes opening out and closing much easier. The battery life is is very good if you're not heavily on your device all day. Charging doesn't seem that much faster than my previous model. The camera provides noticeable sharper detail. The one minus is that my S Pen is now redundant that was really useful with the previous models! Apart from that, I'd say this model is well worth the upgrade.

In my research for the next perfect phone, I came close to purchasing something outside of the Samsung ecosystem, something international, and something completely different. I highly recommend the Fold 8 and S26 Ultra, but for my lifestyle, nothing works better for me than the Z Fold 8 Ultra. I chose Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra for mobility yet having the flexibility to be productive on the go. Also the portable big screen for entertainment or presentation was a deal breaker for me. From showing a plan on site to the clients to watching videos and reading articles, there is hands down no other phone with the best battery life, crisp screen, slim design and vivid colorful high res screens. I chose the violet shadow color which I absolutely love. It's dark and now too flashy, perfect for my taste. I just love the phone!

But it unfolds into a perfectly sized tablet. I'm using it for dnd to take notes and view my character sheet. It's not the only reason I got it, but I do find it cool being able to have such a nice layout for dnd while we play.

When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

It's my second time with galaxy z flip, first was flip 5 and it's already great phone for me, but still had it issues with notification to open it in least expected situations, z flip 8 still have this small problem but with bigger cover screen I can easily wipe it off from the issues list and enjoy it, hinge definitely works better with that satisfying snap while opening, crease is less visible than before even after few weeks of usage. Sharpeness and size of cover display is my favourite thing in that phone, it really looks great, battery keeps well but still need to be improved as I always have this feeling that it won't last till the end of the day and I will have to recharge it, inner screen is very bright and clear to read, with great responsiveness detecting every touch without problems, time will show of course how it will work for another year and if samsung will give me good reason to change it for another model or stay with this one.

I upgrade my foldable phone every year, and compared to last year's Fold 7, this year's Fold 8 Ultra doesn't feel like a significant upgrade overall. The only fan perk—the free memory upgrade for pre-orders—has been cancelled. The only bright spots are the increased battery life and faster charging, and this year's anti-reflective screen is excellent. The crease is also less noticeable than last year. Now that the phone has the "Ultra" name, I hope next year's model will see more improvements, otherwise, I'll lose the motivation to upgrade.

Watching YouTube videos on a larger screen and playing a few mobile games on the big screen also helps with eye strains. However, as a nitpick, I do wish the front screen was a bit bigger. I understand it would cost more, which means I will need to pay more, but I wouldn't mind it if I also get a decently bigger screen on the front. I upgraded from the S24 Ultra, so I still need to get used to the smaller screen and smaller keyboard. For a guy with big-ish hands, the small keyboard does annoy me a bit. But I guess that's a skill issue😆

My last phone was the fold 6. I really enjoyed that phone. But found the front screen too narrow and always making spelling mistakes. I did not try the fold 7. But the fold 8 ultra has exceeded my expectations. Nice feel and quality of build

They just keep getting better and more durable. I chose the Zfold 8 Ultra as an upgrade to my Zfold 7 because of the extra battery capacity, the newer CPU, the better camera, the better screens (love the more matte look over the shiny), and an ever better hinge. Most of the time, I only use the front screen, but if I want to show off a family picture, or zoom in on an article, I just unfold the phone. Most people are absolutely amazed and ask me what the phone is called. The phone size fits well in my back pocket.

I can have notes open on one side, a website on the other, and still somehow convince myself I’m being productive instead of watching YouTube. 😂 The display is gorgeous, performance is extremely fast, and switching between apps feels effortless. I also love being able to use it like a normal phone when folded and then open it up into a mini tablet when I need more space. At this point, going back to a regular phone would probably feel like trying to do homework through a keyhole. Battery life has been solid, the cameras are great, and the overall build feels premium. I pre ordered the pistachio colour and it's beautiful. This is my first folding phone and I gotta say hinge is well designed, it feels durable. I cannot feel the crease when using the phone unfolded.

The Vodafone store even told me I was the first person to pick one up from them, which was pretty cool! The phone is incredibly fast and smooth, especially when multitasking. The camera has been a big improvement and takes great photos and videos. The crease is also much less noticeable. I’ve also been impressed with the AI capabilities.
