At just 201g, it's the lightest book-style foldable yet and feels much more pocketable. Folded: Wide and compact like a passport — the 5.5-inch cover screen is way more usable one-handed for texting, scrolling, and quick tasks. Unfolded: The 7.6-inch inner screen has a near 4:3 ratio that's excellent for videos, YouTube, Netflix, and browsing with fewer black bars. The crease is much less noticeable thanks to new Flex Titanium tech, and the hinge feels solid. It’s fun to open and close. Some people might still find the thickness or sharp corners slightly awkward in tight pockets, but overall it's a huge improvement in everyday comfort.

In older model it was just the phone which was just foldable from middle, but this flip 8 is completely awesome. It has very good screen to body ratio and especially outer small screen is what i like about. It takes less battery and just fit perfect in my hand. All in all it is very good phone worth the wait and price.

I love flip because it fits in all my small purses and my pocket in my scrubs. I have noticed a much faster processing capacity and smoother opening from beinf closed. I was hesistant to upgrade this time around since I knew there weren't a lot of changes made from Z flip 7 which I most recently had. This is my 4th Z Flip the size is perfect for pockets, the main screen is protected by the clam fold it's lighter, the hinge is smoother, the "crease" is almost non existent! Colours are better this year too. Linked to all my other devices seamlessly especially my Mini! Battery also lasting longer, always use battery protection so never charge beyond 85% you can now choose your protection level also. Much more responsive and love the prompt features and AI spam alerts. It feels slimmer but still durable and substantial. You won't be disappointed!

Bought zflip second time. I like flip8 it's big screen and battery life and there's no middle line on the screen. Has extra screen controls everything's.

It's my second time with galaxy z flip, first was flip 5 and it's already great phone for me, but still had it issues with notification to open it in least expected situations, z flip 8 still have this small problem but with bigger cover screen I can easily wipe it off from the issues list and enjoy it, hinge definitely works better with that satisfying snap while opening, crease is less visible than before even after few weeks of usage. Sharpeness and size of cover display is my favourite thing in that phone, it really looks great, battery keeps well but still need to be improved as I always have this feeling that it won't last till the end of the day and I will have to recharge it, inner screen is very bright and clear to read, with great responsiveness detecting every touch without problems, time will show of course how it will work for another year and if samsung will give me good reason to change it for another model or stay with this one.

It's a bit wider and thinner than the older model I had, which makes it a bit easier for me to hold onto in the closed position. I've also really liked the improvements that they have made to the screen and hinge, which I believe will dramatically decrease the chance of scratching and damage to the surface screen and LCD. The 8 does have decent updates; however, these updates are more so for convenience rather than needs for increased usability. For me personally, I could've gone without the upgrade to the 8. I only upgraded due to the rumors of this being the last flip so I wanted to make sure I had the latest version if this were to be true. I think if you enjoy the flip 7 and don't need or can't afford the upgrade, then you're good and aren't missing out on much.

I have been using the new flip8 for 3 weeks now and I am quite happy with it. I have transitioned from iOS system to Android and I am still getting used to it but the phone itself is nice. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is the front camera that has quite low quality. The battery life is quite good as it lasts me an entire day and then some. It does tend to overheat if used outside in the sun.
