Been daily driving the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 for a bit now, and honestly, Samsung actually listened on this one. ​Way more comfortable: Shaving down the thickness and pairing it with a softer strap makes a massive difference. You can actually wear it to sleep without feeling like you strapped a brick to your wrist. ​The display is ridiculous: Peak 5,000 nits is no joke. Direct sunlight on a trail and I can read notifications without squinting at all. ​Legit 3–4 day battery: That new 800 mAh cell plus the updated chip efficiency means battery anxiety is completely gone. ​Zero UI stutter—everything feels instant.

I recently received my Samsung Galaxy watch 9 on the 5th of August,2026. I do not even know from where to start. This is my first ever smart watch, and this review might not go through everthing. I am just giving my honest opinion. The customization, comfort, and simplicity of using this watch has been a life changer for me. I am able to chose whichever image, stats, clock type is very great, as I can always change my options to have a different look at the tap of hand. I also have the watch on when going to sleep, so I can get tracks to how my oxygen intake, sleep score, and energy will be for the next day. The watch looks and feels super durable, and straps do not move an inch if somone tries pulling them. The Battery is great so far, as I do need to give the watch sometime to learn and adapt to my usage, habits, and some updates that go in the background for it. I try to charge the watch around 25-30% to full, so I can have it ready for sleep tracking. The accuracy of the watch is 100% on point with my phone, I can always feel confident when getting the exact time from it when my phone is out of reach, or when driving. Overall, it's a very great for watch for daily usage, stylish design, affordable, and so comfortable that I do not even feel it on my wrist.

I've had Galaxy Watch 5 Pro since 2022 and it was getting too slow and laggy along with battery only lasting a day so upgrading to Ultra 2 was way overdue for me. Mind you, I did not check YouTube reviews because I don't trust any of them so pre-ordered it with a huge discount so I couldn't just pass this opportunities. Open box experience was awesome. Upon unboxing it, there was olive band and extra Marine band that was included in a separate box. Watch is so dang gorgeous! Some people hate the squircle design but it is beautiful. Ultra bright crystal clear displays, with top notch performance and huge battery to last about 3 days. I did get the protector case for it since I work at retail shop involving lifting. It is thinner than the watch I used previously and overall design is amazing. Screen is super durable and it shouldn't scratch from regular use and fast charger charges my watch very fast. Amazing watch!

Been rocking Samsung gear since the old Galaxy S2 days, so you could say I'm a pretty loyal fan! Making the jump from the first gen Galaxy Watch Ultra to this latest version has been such a sweet upgrade. ​Honestly, the battery life is the real MVP here. Finally, a watch that easily cruises past 3 days on a single charge and don't even get me started on that 5000-nit screen. It is completely mind-blowing and crystal clear no matter where you are. I've had this watch for about a week now. I'm coming from a Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. Up until this newest release the watch the Watch 5 Pro had a battery that was only matched by the Ultra until the ultra2 is released. The newer processor and battery do show a marked improvement in speed and longevity. I was a ittle worried the first few days that the increased battery size wouldn't equate to longer run times, but after the apps were all fully installed, updated and configured and the watch adjusted itself to my usage there is now an improvement over my old watch. I used to get 2-3 days usage out of my 5 Pro, but i seem to be getting 3 to 3.5 out of the Ultra2. (Note that i have not linked it to my cell phone plan yet, but neither was the old watch.) The ECG is also a considerable improvement over the watch5 pro. It's so much easier to use and works so much better. So far i am enjoying this watch but it still has 4 major issues to would stop me from recommending it to my friends. 1. It is still ugly, as a watch. The squarish body deserves either a screen to match the body , or a round body to match the normal watch face. Whoever came up with this design should have been fired when the ultra was first released. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro was significantly better looking. 2. Why won't Samsung offer an all Titanium watch band that matches the case. It has beem impossible to find a band to match the "Titanium Grey" case. The old watch didn't suffer from the same aftermarket affliction. 3. Why didn't Samsung use the Galaxy Ultra anti-reflective glass offered on the ultra phones since the S24. This would help the reflections from using it every day in the sun 4. The accessory options never include a second charging pad, let alone one that has a long enough usb cable. Missed opportunity on Samsung's part.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot believe how advanced the Ultra2 watch is over the Ultra. I am glad that I chose to upgrade to the Ultra2. The health benefits I now am finding out that it is a great coach. I find myself exercising more and the Ultra2 is grading all the different benefits such as sleep, different levels of exercising and even letting me know when to take it easy. Plus the battery life is fantastic. No more worry if it will drain too fast. Also the way the case is made, it feels more natural following the curve of my wrist. The screen is also amazing you can enjoy your watch in full daylight. Samsung has outdone itself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Galaxy Watch 9 to work with my S26 Ultra.Coming from the Pixel Watch,it is a different experience but very easy to get to grips with. The fact that it just works is great. It runs so smoothly in the Galaxy Eco system - do not disturb syncs effortlessly, the screen is crystal clear and super bright for the outdoors (yes, it is very sunny in the UK at the moment), Gemini works really well and is very intuitive now. The watch is easy to customise with endless difference face options. Notifications are on point and work extremely well with my S26. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. I did spend the bit extra for the LTE version as I find this is beneficial for my specific needs. The watch is accurate, so no worries there. Battery life is good. I did try it as a sleep tracker as well as wearing it all day and I just scraped a full day. That being said, I was still in the 'play about with my new toy' phase so I am hopeful that this will last longer in the future. I bought an extra strap so I can alternate and I must say that watch itself is really comfortable. I hardly notice it most of the time. Time will tell regards to the durability - it appears to be very well made, so fingers crossed.

I chose this watch because I wanted the same rugged design with better everyday comfort. I love checking my sleep score each morning, and the much brighter display is a major improvement, especially outdoors. The battery life is also so much better, so I do not have to worry about charging it as often. Overall, it feels like a worthwhile upgrade that is comfortable, reliable, and easy to wear all day and night. I have a small wrist (5.25 in) and this doen not look too balky on me at all. Just love it!

In the past, I've always had the Classic versions of the Galaxy Watches. The bright screen is VERY good - yes, we've in the sun! Samsung Health keeps improving. I primarily have it as a fashion accessory, with the Health app as a secondary benefit. The battery life is much improved over my previous Watch 6 Classic. I've not owned the 1st Ultra so I don't have anything to compare this Watch with except for my previous watches and I must say that I'm impressed. I live the size of it as well as it's not too heavy. I chose it because of the handful of new features it has, and it actually does a much better job of measuring blood pressure and even the ECG feature works, which was always an issue in both the Watch 8 and my much older original Ultra. There seem to be many more health features on it that either weren't available on the 8 or not obvious, such as vitals and heart health. I like the slightly larger, but much more responsive watch face, which has a nice flat surface. So far, this has been a huge improvement over the Watch 8 and the original first generation Ultra.

I've owned all model of galaxy watches since the watch 3, (with the exception of the 4) but never the "ultra." Now I got the opportunity to use one that boasts new hardware upgrades. I use the watch for both personal and business and so far it fits the bill. One of the only drawbacks, (minor as it is) is the charging speed. Using the fast charger puck only charges fast if using my 45 watt block. It is much like phones, still minor nonetheless. But everything else is pretty awesome! Watch lasted about 3 days on single full charge. Not bad. 👍

Using it to track sleep, walking and exercise during the day and night. The durability should be the same as the watch 5 pro, the screen didn't have a mark on it after all those years of constant use and the bezel only had light scratches. So far, the battery seems a little better and as the watch learns my patterns, should improve. The bracelet is comfortable and secure with it's double clasp. The accuracy seems to be fine with steps, compass and other information displayed on the screen.

But the Watch Ultra2 is next level, the 47mm display even makes typing simple so responding to messages on the go is easy. It feels thinner and lighter which makes it super comfy to wear while still being very durable (I even wear mine to football and it's taken some punishment). Activity tracking is spot on, even times where I don't set it, the workout detection is very accurate! One huge improvement is the battery life, I am charging it less than half as much as my old watch!

The display is great, clear and bright easily readable and i was especially impressed by the accuracy of the the touch screen when typing out messages or searching in the play store. Youd think your big fingers would struggle but somehow it knows what your pressing. As for durability it is great, it may be big but that is because its built to be strong and durable including the screen which is made from some very hardy material, its like a brick packed with some impressive technology and iv still yet to discover what more it can do! I will say I was pleasantly surprised by the health monitoring. I had a health scare that involved a gastroenterologist, and afterwards I was directed to monitor my blood pressure 3 to 4 times per day and monitor my resting heart rate. I can manage just fine at home but while working 14 hours a day I cannot but the watch came in handy and really saved me. Thanks Samsung!

I held off until this release due to the increase battery life as I was looking for a watch that could keep up with my long days. Highly recommend; it looks great. Definitely a little lighter on the hand. I was worried at first I wouldn't like the numbers over the orange ticks, but it actually looks really good. While it is undeniably a beautiful timepiece with a significantly improved battery life and a comfortable wide strap, I haven't yet noticed substantial differences from my previous model. This experience reminds me of newer smartphones; I plan to continue using my Samsung S24 Ultra until it is no longer functional. I acknowledge that I haven't fully explored all the features of the Ultra 2, and it may still offer some surprises. However, based on my current interactions, it largely mirrors the functionality of my old watch, albeit with a different aesthetic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have worn my watch ultra 2 for over 4 days on my initial charge of the battery and it's only down to 30% charge . I set it to energy saving and screen touch to open, and I am really happy with the accuracy of description by Samsung as to usage of the battery. The new design strap is very smart and the watch is so comfortable, I forget that I am wearing it. The display is fantastically clear and bright and has great definition. It is very rugged with a smart modern look. Everything I expected from the advertising, I can attest to the fact that it is an amazing watch purchase, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

I held off until this release due to the increase battery life as I was looking for a watch that could keep up with my long days. My intial impressions are that this is a very well built watch and feels like it can take a beating. Haven't tried it yet on my runs and exercise routines but am excited to what this baby can do. Will try to update as I get some mileage with this unit. The interface is very user friendly and learning was a breeze. Coming from my ancient Gear 2 learning this severely upgraded version was easy. A very good decision for sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a power user, I find the extra battery life and slimmer form factor of the new Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 to be substantial upgrades over the previous generation. The increased battery life gives it true two-day+ use, while also allowing you to take advantage of extra health monitoring features without sacrificing overall battery life in the process. The biggest upgrade for me though, and why I chose it, was for the slimmer & lighter build of the watch coupled with the redesigned bands. They substantially improve the comfort and ergonomics of the watch, especially if you're wearing it all day or night and on the move!

I chose a different watch everyday (I wear 2 actually, one on each wrist, 1 smart 1 mechanical) and I have not put my watch 8 classic, watch 7 or either of my watch 6 versions since I received the ultra 2 because I don't have to charge it. Using the watch, the screen as with the original, is pretty vibrant without being too bright. The animations are smooth and flawlessly rendered. I mentioned I don't 'noticed much of a difference but that is just looks. What apps / tasks I've used, it snaps. No hesitation no delay. I really like the watch Ultra 2.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Ultra 2 to upgrade from my Ultra, mainly because of the longer battery life and the thinner case than the original Ultra had. So far, the watch has meet and/or exceeded my expectations. The battery life is definitely better. And I like all the new watch faces that can show me several 'complications' all at the same time. Being 72 years old, I mainly like to monitor my heart rate and blood oxygen. I also have it paired to my cell phone's number and use it for the 'hard fall' alert it has. I feel safe knowing that it can call out on its own, and notify my kids and the sheriff. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase ... especially the $250 trade-in.

I've had this for a few days now and the accuracy of the tracking when out on walks is insane, much more do than the previous iteration if the watch. I've only charged the battery once since I got it and it's dropped just under 20% after multiple walks and activities which is a vast improvement over the watch ultra. The new strap is really comfortable and I don't see me having to buy a new one any time soon which I had to do with the first watch ultra. I'm not sure if I'm imagining it but the display seems a lot brighter and also larger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a fan of Samsung products for years and their watches have been on my wrist going back to the Pro, then the Ultra, and now the Ultra 2. The styling changes between the Ultra and Ultra 2 are subtle, so I wasn't sure I would upgrade after it was introduced at the Unpacked event. Once I looked at the incentives they offered I chose to give it a go and I'm happy I did. It came with One UI 9.0 Watch and a bevy of additional metrics for tracking fitness. The screen is also noticeably brighter and snappier and the battery lasts much longer than it did on my Ultra. As I learn to use some of the other features I'm sure it's utility and usefulness will only continue to improve.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded my Galaxy Watch Ultra to the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and let me tell you, I'm glad I chose to do so. This new Watch is somehow lighter, faster and with a bigger screen, even though it still is a 47mm. I immediately felt how much lighter it was as soon as I unboxed it and the band is slimmer but tough still. I personally like the slimmer bezel and the numerals added as it gives it a more refined look. Battery life has been excellent. I used it daily and track my walks and once the weather cools down a little, I will be taking it on my hikes as well. I am very happy with the upgrade. 5/5 Stars!

Saw this and tried it in Samsung Store Ayala Malls Legazpi, I really love how premium and durable it feels. The display is bright and clea, the health and fitness are very useful, and the battery life is great for everyday use. I also loves the rugged design it looks stylish while still feeling tough enough for outdoor activities. I was correct in that assumption. The Ultra 2 is snappy, the screen just slightly larger (confirmed by replacing the screen protector with the one I originally used on the Ultra 1, and overall is just more refined. Happy purchaser, and a continual upgrade within the Galaxy line up. I'm pairing this watch along with the Buds 4 Pro, and also a S25U/ Fold 8 when it shows up. The watch is a cleaner, more refined, upgrade from the original. Worth the purchase and the price I paid. Thanks Samsung!

The first few days there was insane battery drainage while it learns patterns, but after that, it did level out. The new updated health categories in the health app like the daily cardio load just don't really work well. Overall, the watch looks and fits great, but i tracked all of my workouts and the health monitoring just wasn't updated well.

While I loved the Ultra and its features, the Ultra2 is even better, with new and improved features to support my everyday health journey. Not only does it help me track my exercise and activities, but it can also differentiate between walking, jogging, running, and swimming, which is amazing! After comparing the two, this version is noticeably lighter, which made an immediate difference in comfort. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 4th Samsung Watch and,as the previous ones,this one performs very well.It's large display is very easy to read and it performs the health monitoring functions I want easily.It sits on my arm comfortably and the battery life is more than I require (will run for 48hrs). One small minus is that it is slower getting my step count from my new Z Fold8 Ultra but I can live with that. However as a Type 2 diabetic another firms watch has announced a monitoring feature so I've ordered that.

Was great for a week and a half but as of today it'll no longer charge and when looking online for advice I see many similar complaints. Charging was very fast every time until today, but now it doesn't matter how many resets I try or how many different chargers I try it just won't charge. Screen says 'charging' and give estimated time but the watch is still actually discharging.

The 5 Pro was a solid watch and did everything I needed, but the Ultra Watch 2 finally had enough upgrades, from battery life, to customizations, and health monitoring, that it made it worth the change. So far, the Ultra Watch 2 has been worth every moment of the wait. It's slightly bigger, which with the more squared shape, looks more in line with current watches. The band it comes with is much nicer and more breathable than my old one. Overall, it's a great watch and worth looking at if you're due for an upgrade.

I thought the bigger battery would at least last 3 and 1/2 days, but it's lasting 2 days and 14 hours kinda like my Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra. Hopefully it gets better with more usage. It fits flatter on my wrist which makes it much more comfortable. Keep up the good work. I wish Samsung would listen to their day one customers and bring back S Pen support to the Galaxy Z Fold 9 next year so I can finally upgrade from my Z Fold 6. I have the Watch Ultra 2 in Titanium Silver. Please don't take this color away. Can't wait to see what the next Watch Ultra will be like 👍🏿.
