                  I've had the Z Fold8 Ultra for a few weeks now. I upgraded from the Fold6. I'm happy with the upgrade. The Fold8 Ultra is light, thin and powerful. The cameras are magnificent, battery life is great and I love the size of the main screen when opened. I do miss the S-Pen I had with the previous Fold6. The only complaint is the thickness of the camera. It protruding out of the main body quite a bit and makes it difficult or on some charger impossible to correctly place on wireless charger pads. I opted for an integrated magsafe case and upgraded my charging pads in home, office and vehicle to magsafe compatible fast chargers and have not looked back.

                  Received Green fold 8 ultra a week ago, I would like to highlight few annoying issues with the larger display 1. FB, Instagram and shorts videos are enlarged to full screen and optimized for better view. 2.Netflix and Prime videos are smaller than ultra s26 display which is disappointing 3. Front display is too small and it could be little bit bigger for easy usage on unfold times 4.Digital bill board images are too pixelating due to the sharpeness corrections 5.                   I upgrade my foldable phone every year, and compared to last year's Fold 7, this year's Fold 8 Ultra doesn't feel like a significant upgrade overall. The only fan perk—the free memory upgrade for pre-orders—has been cancelled. The only bright spots are the increased battery life and faster charging, and this year's anti-reflective screen is excellent. The crease is also less noticeable than last year. Now that the phone has the "Ultra" name, I hope next year's model will see more improvements, otherwise, I'll lose the motivation to upgrade.

                  I’ve been extremely impressed with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. What stands out most is how Samsung managed to give it such a large, beautiful folding display while keeping the phone surprisingly thin and light. It feels much more comfortable to carry and use than I expected from a foldable with this much screen space. The inner display is easily my favourite feature. Once unfolded, it feels like having a small tablet in my pocket. Reading websites, checking emails, viewing photos and videos, and working with documents are all much more enjoyable on the larger screen. Multitasking is also excellent. Being able to have multiple apps open at the same time makes the Fold especially useful for productivity. I can check an email while looking at another app, browse the web while taking notes, or move between tasks without constantly switching back and forth. I also really appreciate that I can use the outer screen like a regular smartphone when I just need to do something quickly, then unfold it whenever I want the extra space. It gives me the best of both a phone and a tablet in one device. The combination of the large folding display, thinner and lighter design, and excellent multitasking has made the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra one of the most enjoyable smartphones I’ve used. Samsung has done an excellent job refining the foldable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a premium phone with a much bigger screen when they need it.

Going from the fold 6 to the fold 8 ultra is a huge game changer, bigger cover screen, super slim design, and even better cameras has been such a gamechanger for me. The 200 megapixel main shooter takes amazing photos, and the software enhancement to the pictures is also super impressive. The cover screen of the device is no longer skinny, but a normal sized screen that is way easier to use. I can't recommend this device enough, especially to people who own an older foldable, or just to the everyday person considering this form factor!

Removing the ability to hide the camera hole from the display when the phone is open honestly made me consider returning the device. It was such a poor choice in change from previous models. The recent updates to the UI, changing it to act as a tablet, have degraded the user experience further. The device is honestly a little too thin in my opinion as well. The buttons are placed better than folds from some other companies though, and the lack of visible crease is a nice improvement over previous generations. Overall a very mid phone for the price.

My last Fold was the 6 series, great product, great size but heavy with a case. I chose the Fold Ultra 8 for my newer version, and it is a wonderful product. It has the same basic features as the 6, but with great improvements. The phone is thinner, lighter, has a bigger screen, and new features. I have enjoyed working more with Gemini to accomplish a few tasks quicker and can't wait to spend a little more time exploring. There are some new features with photos, circle and search, and many AI features. I highly recommend any Z series Fold, but especially the Ultra 8.

                  everything about the phone phone Factor the screen side is excellent that's the best part of the z-fold 8. But be aware of the inner screen display where if you close the phone the borders of the phone does not protect the inner screen rather the inner screen touches each other so any kind of debris will cause the inner screen to break. You might also find that the touch response is not that great as the bar phones of the ultra. I just love the size, Samsung needs to work on this phone factor and make it perfect. Display quality is great but sometimes or most of the times it reduces the brightness I do not know for whatever reason it might be. And battery life it is okay for now goes through the day but you need to recharge it twice a day.

They have lessened the crease, put better cameras in and it comes with the latest android software. I have been a Fold user since the Fold 3 and I don't see myself going back. I use the multitasking split screen feature almost everyday. The phone is buttery smooth and feels like a normal candy bar phone when Folded. I am really enjoying my experience with this phone and I'm still learning how to take and edit pictures in a more creative way.                   Switched from my Z fold 6 and the phone works excellent. Having the new cameras with improved quality and a more durable inner screen makes a difference. Plus the crease is nearly gone when I touch or look directly into it. The processor is also more responsive than I expected which is worth it when I need to execute tasks. I am however wanting to have the S-Pen functionality back as that would make the inner screen a much more better performance in my daily needs such as sketching/drawing.

Somehow it is even slimmer with a bigger battery. The updated ultrawide camera is also a welcome change. It's not perfect though, yet. I hope it actually lives up to the "Ultra" naming soon with better cameras. Even if telephoto lenses are completely dropped, the other 2 (wide+ultra-wide) should be the same as the other flagship "Ultra" devices. For example nightography isn't on par with the S26 Ultra standards. But this has come very close to perfection.

                  This is my first fold coming from the so called slab phone the s25 ultra. I have to say it grows on you as you use it. I chose this version as it's mainly for my work and multitasking capabilities. I like that unfolded it has two 5.5 inch screens. I do however, wish that there was an s-pen and they would do two 6.5 inch screens to live up to the ultra name. However, all in all my productivity has increased, for my work I have to review a lot of work and research so reading and multitasking is bar none the best I experienced on a phone. I hope they can add the 3 horizontal windows from the regular fold 8. Make sure you research a good case the phone is fragile compared to the slab phones. The battery has been impressive so far and lasts me almost the full day, we'll see in the long run. Responsiveness is good too.

I received my new phone in the mail ahead of schedule and switching everything from my old Fold 6 was so easy. As for the phone, this upgrade is incredible. The Fold 8 Ultra and as wide when folded as my Fold 6 is unfolded. It's noticeably faster when I'm playing games or loading pictures and videos or using AI editing, so lightweight, and picture quality is an impressive jump in quality. I chose the Fold line for my phone since the Fold 3 and can't imagine going back to standard phones ever again.

My old phone worked great but this one is a step above. Needing my phone for work is a must. Taking pictures of equipment is just part of my use. But being able to have a larger display to zoom in on makes my job SO much easier. Also being able to browse websites for parts on this display is a treat. Not seeing the crease is very nice. The battery life is quite nice. Especially when using the larger display often. It is a very thin phone and fits great in my pocket. This Zfold 8 Ultra is a must buy!!!

                  What surprised me most is how quickly I got used to the foldable design. I expected the larger screen to be more of a novelty, but I actually use it all the time for multitasking, watching videos, and reading. The hinge feels much more refined than I expected, and opening the phone has a satisfying, solid feel without being too stiff. The outer screen is responsive and bright enough that I don’t always need to unfold it. Battery life has also been reliable for my normal day-to-day use. It’s not just a cool-looking phone the foldable format genuinely changes how I use my phone.

It has great improvements in performance, battery life, cameras, screens, you name it over previous devices (I came from a fold 5). With all that said I do have 2 complaints. 1. I REALLY miss the under display camera for the larger screen. The in display camera of old was a much better choice for the majority of the type of people that will buy these phones. We do not need the best selfie camera on our big screen and would much rather enjoy a truly edge to edge un interrupted experience during multi tasking, content cumsumption and gaming. 2 (This is more minor but food for thought). This is already a 2000 dollar phone... I really hate to say it, but locking 16GB of ram behind an additional 500 dollar pay wall is really disappointing. This phone is the king of multifunction and I really feel like the lack of ram for the lower two versions is really something that should be considered in the future as for something this feature rich, all users should have the full processing capabilities if they are entering the category regardless of their storage needs. With that all said, I am very happy with the phone and am truly impressed with what 3 years of innovation between this and the fold 5 have yielded, Bravo Samsung, keep them coming!

The screen is awesome for the brightness and the bump in size. The battery, a constant worry with the 6, is not even close to a stressor here. Pretty much the only thing I wish it had was the s pen. While not a power user, I was starting to become one until I heard Sammy was not going to bring it back to t8 line up. Seems silly given how powerful Samsung Notes are, but I digress. If you are not a die hard s pen lover and have a 6 or older, the 8 ultra is totally worth it!

I've been on the Z Fold train since the Z Fold 6 and then I ended up with the Z Fold 7, and now I have the Z Fold 8 ultra which I'm stoked about. But I'm extremely extremely disappointed that the Z Fold 7 and the Z Fold 8 ultra do not have S.Pen compatibility, that's my biggest complaint that I have and really my only complaint that I have. I'm insanely disappointed that the Z Fold 8 does not have the S.Pen support, and I'm praying that you guys will bring it back and I want an internal spot to store the s.Pen and the Z fold will be complete in my opinion.

But after using the 8 ultra, I'm fully satisfied that I chose to upgrade. I've been using the fold 8 ultra constantly all morning long and I'm only at 88% at 1pm. The fold 7 would have been at 50%. The subtle angling Samsung added to the exterior makes it much easier to open. No more needing to dig your fingernails in the middle of the phone! The hinge feels stronger, more responsive, and of course the screen crease is hard to find. The anti reflective coating on the inside hides it even more! So many quality of life improvements, very good phone

While I was initially drawn to the Z Fold 8 Wide due to its ideal form factor and aesthetic appeal, I ultimately decided against it because it is a first-generation device and lacks Flex Mode functionality. Despite its compact size, my preference for larger displays, coupled with my need for advanced multitasking capabilities and the enhanced features of Bixby, led me to select what I think will work best for me and what I believe I will enjoy most, so I chose the Z Fold 8 Ultra model. In addition, the absence of a visible crease on the new device is also a significant advantage.

                  I just received my z fold 8 ultra yesterday, the battery seems to drop quite fast when watching videos and multitasking. The hinge seems durable. The phone seems more responsive than my s25. The crease is almost invisible. Even though I have just received it yesterday, the phone seems quite durable. However, this phone is a tad heavier than my S25, I'm not quite used to it yet. It is a trade off for productivity tho. One thing that quite bother me is the quality of the speaker. I'm trading the featherweight s25 with nice speaker for a z fold 8 ultra with a huge potential of productivity and a great camera. I hope this is a good trade

I chose Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra for mobility yet having the flexibility to be productive on the go. Also the portable big screen for entertainment or presentation was a deal breaker for me. From showing a plan on site to the clients to watching videos and reading articles, there is hands down no other phone with the best battery life, crisp screen, slim design and vivid colorful high res screens. I chose the violet shadow color which I absolutely love. It's dark and now too flashy, perfect for my taste. I just love the phone!

There are some quirks like the threat of dust in the hinge, but all in all I'm in love with this phone. I love viewing YouTube videos on this, and while I haven't tried the Z Fold 8, the Ultra seems like the better option since you have more realestate on the inner screen. Multi tasking is awesome as well. I can have my email up while searching something on the web. I'm also optimistic of the new Gemini Task Automation feature. I think if you are thinking of switching to a foldable phone for the first time this is your best option. The price is hard to get past but if you can get a trade in deal then it's totally worth it.

                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Fold 8 Ultra for a week after upgrading from my S25 Ultra, and I am loving the multitasking capabilities of this phone. When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

I've used many different phones over the years and always felt an issue of not having enough screen space for my multitasking and gaming. The fold 8 ultra solves this problem for me easily! The flexibility to have a big screen unfolded, while also having a super comfortable one-handed experience when it's folded is unmatched. I need a phone like this because I do a lot of business work, gaming, etc. Anything I need this phone to do, it can do it easily with plenty of space. Since then I've owned almost every single version of the Zfold series. They just keep getting better and more durable. I chose the Zfold 8 Ultra as an upgrade to my Zfold 7 because of the extra battery capacity, the newer CPU, the better camera, the better screens (love the more matte look over the shiny), and an ever better hinge. Most of the time, I only use the front screen, but if I want to show off a family picture, or zoom in on an article, I just unfold the phone. Most people are absolutely amazed and ask me what the phone is called. The phone size fits well in my back pocket.

The Vodafone store even told me I was the first person to pick one up from them, which was pretty cool! The phone is incredibly fast and smooth, especially when multitasking. The camera has been a big improvement and takes great photos and videos. The crease is also much less noticeable. I’ve also been impressed with the AI capabilities. There are plenty of useful features that actually make everyday tasks easier rather than just feeling like a gimmick. I’m very happy with the upgrade, I've had the fold 1, 2, 5 and now the 8 ultra. This has been by far the best one!

                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Fold, I have always been a S series Ultra/Note user but I was excited about the Fold series this year, will see if I stick to it in the long run. I chose Ultra over the Fold because of better cameras and easy multitasking as compared to a small form factor. I love how thin it is, not as heavy and bulky as very earlier models of Fold. Battery size is also a big improvement. Anti reflective interior display is also a big plus. Smart switch app is a blessing, it was super easy to transfer everything from my old phone and didn't take super long.

I love that it fit in my pocket but i kept misplacing it. Also the screen size wasnt optimal when it was closed. I chose the z fold 8 ultra because of it size when closed for easy access. However when i look at the unfolded screen I get a big smile on my face. The screen is beautiful. I love how when navigating different it splits the open apps and the available apps on different sides of the screen. I just received it and am in love with it. It also has the key plus functionality for my car so i can use my phone as a touchless key. I love love love it.

I also like how skiny the phone is even when its folded. Easy to grab and has a nice snap feel. The only reason I didnt grab the last year model was because of the battery and the fast charge capability. But now this new phone has 45 watt charge speed and 5000 mAh, just like the S26 ultra. And they werent lying about the improvements they made to the inner screen. You can barely see the crease and it has anti reflection on it too. Being able to also multi-task with google and notes is amazing. I will be sticking with this phone for as long as I can.

Watching YouTube videos on a larger screen and playing a few mobile games on the big screen also helps with eye strains. However, as a nitpick, I do wish the front screen was a bit bigger. I understand it would cost more, which means I will need to pay more, but I wouldn't mind it if I also get a decently bigger screen on the front. I upgraded from the S24 Ultra, so I still need to get used to the smaller screen and smaller keyboard. For a guy with big-ish hands, the small keyboard does annoy me a bit. But I guess that's a skill issue😆

                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even when many might think that is "just another yearly upgrade", it is impresive what Samsung as a brand can actually achieve on a span of a year when it comes to improving their products, making it so it feels like a completely different experience from the Fold 7 to the Fold 8 Ultra. It is my 4th upgrade in a row, starting from the Fold 5 and now a days it feels pretty much impossible to me go back to a regular one-screened format phone, not to even think of changing to another brand. The titanium layer is definitely a great feature while keeping the device SO thin thanks to the silicon carbon battery. Definitely best foldable so far, hands down.

I purchased this phone to replace my Fold 5. I have a hybrid job that sometimes requires me to do administrative task on the fly. It feels like I have a dual monitor in my pocket. It's also great for recreation. Reading books, social media, YouTube, and my gaming experience has been awesome. Coming from an older Fold, I couldn't believe how light weight this phone is. You can't really tell that this is a foldable phone in your pocket. I really like how you can make this phone your own with Samsung Good Lock app. Overall, the experience has been great! I chose this phone because I wanted the latest Fold experience, and it feels like a meaningful upgrade. It is noticeably light, thin, and sleek, making it more comfortable to carry and use every day. The wider front screen is one of my favorite improvements; it feels more natural for regular phone use, and typing is much easier compared with the Fold6. The large inner display is also great for watching videos and multitasking. So far, the phone feels fast, premium, and well made. The back feels very smooth and premium, but it can be a little slippery, so I would recommend using a case. I am very happy with this upgrade.

It weighs just as much as my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra but considerably less than my foldable Z5. The crease is hardly noticeable. It is relatively easy to open and close. The touch is very responsive and the flow going from screen to screen is pretty fast. Takes great pictures. I wish it would allow 3 screens side by side like the Z8. The color really doesn't look like Violet. Looks very dark. All in all I am happy with my purchase.

                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the fold 8 ultra because I was using a 24 ultra before, and didn't want to lose too much of camera quality. So far the experience has been great. Still trying to get used to the small front screen (compared to the 24U) and doing more mult app tasks. There is a learning curve to use the big inner screen. The phone is very slim, even with a case, it is almost the same size as the 24U. Battery life is great, as good as my 24U. Gaming is beautiful. Pair with a mobile controller (like a Gamesir G8+) you got a great handheld device. Great job Samsung. Keep improving the fold line and there will be a lot more customers switching from IOS to Android.
