I've had the Z Fold8 Ultra for a few weeks now. I upgraded from the Fold6. I'm happy with the upgrade. The Fold8 Ultra is light, thin and powerful. The cameras are magnificent, battery life is great and I love the size of the main screen when opened. I do miss the S-Pen I had with the previous Fold6. The only complaint is the thickness of the camera. It protruding out of the main body quite a bit and makes it difficult or on some charger impossible to correctly place on wireless charger pads. I opted for an integrated magsafe case and upgraded my charging pads in home, office and vehicle to magsafe compatible fast chargers and have not looked back.

Wow. Preordered the phone last week and it arrived a few days ago.. My first fold phone and I absolutely love it. Honestly, wish they had a third camera but I fully understand. First up, you don't even think about the tiny crease or notice it; ignore the hype online. This has made phones fun again! I absolutely love how Samsung made a new device easy to use with one hand and the deals were phenomenal. Excited to really start using it but looking for a clear magsafe case first. Bought one from amazon but am unimpressed. Anyways, if you are thinking about this phone all I can say is go for it. You won't be disappointed or be able to put it down.

I bought my galaxy fold 8 ultra a week ago. The staff were very helpful with transferring my data from my Fold 4. I was hesitant about getting my Fold 4, but it lasted me over 4 years which is the longest a phone has ever lasted me. I figured after 4 years, the Fold 8 should be much better than the Fold 4. I love the improved battery and the increased size of the outer screen. The thinness of the phone is amazing as well. It fits so much better in my pocket. Gaming wise, it runs smoothly. From the Fold 4, this is a noticeable upgrade!

Received Green fold 8 ultra a week ago, I would like to highlight few annoying issues with the larger display 1. FB, Instagram and shorts videos are enlarged to full screen and optimized for better view. 2.Netflix and Prime videos are smaller than ultra s26 display which is disappointing 3. Front display is too small and it could be little bit bigger for easy usage on unfold times 4.Digital bill board images are too pixelating due to the sharpeness corrections 5. Not worthy for 3000k CAD 6. Performances are better and battery life is decent

everything about the phone phone Factor the screen side is excellent that's the best part of the z-fold 8. But be aware of the inner screen display where if you close the phone the borders of the phone does not protect the inner screen rather the inner screen touches each other so any kind of debris will cause the inner screen to break. You might also find that the touch response is not that great as the bar phones of the ultra. I just love the size, Samsung needs to work on this phone factor and make it perfect. Display quality is great but sometimes or most of the times it reduces the brightness I do not know for whatever reason it might be. And battery life it is okay for now goes through the day but you need to recharge it twice a day.

I upgrade my foldable phone every year, and compared to last year's Fold 7, this year's Fold 8 Ultra doesn't feel like a significant upgrade overall. The only fan perk—the free memory upgrade for pre-orders—has been cancelled. The only bright spots are the increased battery life and faster charging, and this year's anti-reflective screen is excellent. The crease is also less noticeable than last year. I’ve been extremely impressed with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. What stands out most is how Samsung managed to give it such a large, beautiful folding display while keeping the phone surprisingly thin and light. It feels much more comfortable to carry and use than I expected from a foldable with this much screen space. The inner display is easily my favourite feature. Once unfolded, it feels like having a small tablet in my pocket. Reading websites, checking emails, viewing photos and videos, and working with documents are all much more enjoyable on the larger screen. Multitasking is also excellent. Being able to have multiple apps open at the same time makes the Fold especially useful for productivity. I can check an email while looking at another app, browse the web while taking notes, or move between tasks without constantly switching back and forth. I also really appreciate that I can use the outer screen like a regular smartphone when I just need to do something quickly, then unfold it whenever I want the extra space. It gives me the best of both a phone and a tablet in one device. The combination of the large folding display, thinner and lighter design, and excellent multitasking has made the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra one of the most enjoyable smartphones I’ve used. Samsung has done an excellent job refining the foldable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a premium phone with a much bigger screen when they need it.

Could never get my head round it. Now a much improved and decent camera. The screen is improved and the fold barely visible. Although, to be honest, it didn't really bother me.The fold in the fold seven. It folds away much neater and feels a lot better quality than the seven. The battery fuels like it last slightly longer.Although on my previous fold seven , the battery still seemed okay. Would I recommend it?Yes, I would.It just feels a lot better phone all round.

Removing the ability to hide the camera hole from the display when the phone is open honestly made me consider returning the device. It was such a poor choice in change from previous models. The recent updates to the UI, changing it to act as a tablet, have degraded the user experience further. The device is honestly a little too thin in my opinion as well. The buttons are placed better than folds from some other companies though, and the lack of visible crease is a nice improvement over previous generations. Overall a very mid phone for the price.
This is my first fold coming from the so called slab phone the s25 ultra. I have to say it grows on you as you use it. I chose this version as it's mainly for my work and multitasking capabilities. I like that unfolded it has two 5.5 inch screens. I do however, wish that there was an s-pen and they would do two 6.5 inch screens to live up to the ultra name. However, all in all my productivity has increased, for my work I have to review a lot of work and research so reading and multitasking is bar none the best I experienced on a phone. I hope they can add the 3 horizontal windows from the regular fold 8. Make sure you research a good case the phone is fragile compared to the slab phones. The battery has been impressive so far and lasts me almost the full day, we'll see in the long run. Responsiveness is good too.

Screens are very responsive and good resolution. OS is very fast and responsive even with the fold/unfold requiring everything on the screen to change modes. Very smart to have front facing cameras on both screens. Room for improvement; a little hard to open the fold without tapping things on the small screen, perhaps a finger gap to open would be better. In the open screen mode the keyboard doesn't make use of the middle of the fold which makes it a bit hard to open. Overall this might be the time to go Fold if you are considering it.

It's been about 10 days, upgrading from s24 Ultra, a switch I was doubting because of the lack of the Spen, but for some reason, I love every aspect of the phone. The size when closed, thin and feels compact, when needing a large screen, boom, 8 inch display, super bright, no reflection, unbelievably thin and productive is on a different level. The Battery lasts the whole day, and I'm a heavy user. The Hinge feels strong and smooth. The cameras are super good. The software is well designed for foldables. Well done Samsung.

This phone does not deserve an Ultra tag. Does not have built in privacy(front Screen) as S26ultra, the camera performance is really not that great. I feel like my Note 20 took lot better and clearer picture without the extra processing. First few days the battery was great but now after a week of use, I have to charge my phone at least once for 30 min. Phone also feel hotter while normal use. I do not paly any games!
I bought this about 2 weeks ago and I noticed that the battery was a great improvement from my previous Samsung fold 6. the display is much nicer with less noticeable crease in the middle. the hinge feels very sturdy and when you're typing or flipping between apps or having multiple apps open, handles it very well with no lag.

Somehow it is even slimmer with a bigger battery. The updated ultrawide camera is also a welcome change. It's not perfect though, yet. I hope it actually lives up to the "Ultra" naming soon with better cameras. Even if telephoto lenses are completely dropped, the other 2 (wide+ultra-wide) should be the same as the other flagship "Ultra" devices. For example nightography isn't on par with the S26 Ultra standards. But this has come very close to perfection.

I chose Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra for mobility yet having the flexibility to be productive on the go. Also the portable big screen for entertainment or presentation was a deal breaker for me. From showing a plan on site to the clients to watching videos and reading articles, there is hands down no other phone with the best battery life, crisp screen, slim design and vivid colorful high res screens. I chose the violet shadow color which I absolutely love. It's dark and now too flashy, perfect for my taste. I just love the phone!

I just received my z fold 8 ultra yesterday, the battery seems to drop quite fast when watching videos and multitasking. The hinge seems durable. The phone seems more responsive than my s25. The crease is almost invisible. Even though I have just received it yesterday, the phone seems quite durable. However, this phone is a tad heavier than my S25, I'm not quite used to it yet. It is a trade off for productivity tho. One thing that quite bother me is the quality of the speaker. I'm trading the featherweight s25 with nice speaker for a z fold 8 ultra with a huge potential of productivity and a great camera. I hope this is a good trade

When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

They just keep getting better and more durable. I chose the Zfold 8 Ultra as an upgrade to my Zfold 7 because of the extra battery capacity, the newer CPU, the better camera, the better screens (love the more matte look over the shiny), and an ever better hinge. Most of the time, I only use the front screen, but if I want to show off a family picture, or zoom in on an article, I just unfold the phone. Most people are absolutely amazed and ask me what the phone is called. The phone size fits well in my back pocket.

Going from the fold 6 to the fold 8 ultra is a huge game changer, bigger cover screen, super slim design, and even better cameras has been such a gamechanger for me. The 200 megapixel main shooter takes amazing photos, and the software enhancement to the pictures is also super impressive. The cover screen of the device is no longer skinny, but a normal sized screen that is way easier to use. I can't recommend this device enough, especially to people who own an older foldable, or just to the everyday person considering this form factor!

Also the screen size wasnt optimal when it was closed. I chose the z fold 8 ultra because of it size when closed for easy access. However when i look at the unfolded screen I get a big smile on my face. The screen is beautiful. I love how when navigating different it splits the open apps and the available apps on different sides of the screen. I just received it and am in love with it. It also has the key plus functionality for my car so i can use my phone as a touchless key. I love love love it.

Easy to grab and has a nice snap feel. The only reason I didnt grab the last year model was because of the battery and the fast charge capability. But now this new phone has 45 watt charge speed and 5000 mAh, just like the S26 ultra. And they werent lying about the improvements they made to the inner screen. You can barely see the crease and it has anti reflection on it too. Being able to also multi-task with google and notes is amazing. I will be sticking with this phone for as long as I can.
What surprised me most is how quickly I got used to the foldable design. I expected the larger screen to be more of a novelty, but I actually use it all the time for multitasking, watching videos, and reading. The hinge feels much more refined than I expected, and opening the phone has a satisfying, solid feel without being too stiff. Watching YouTube videos on a larger screen and playing a few mobile games on the big screen also helps with eye strains. However, as a nitpick, I do wish the front screen was a bit bigger. I understand it would cost more, which means I will need to pay more, but I wouldn't mind it if I also get a decently bigger screen on the front. I upgraded from the S24 Ultra, so I still need to get used to the smaller screen and smaller keyboard. For a guy with big-ish hands, the small keyboard does annoy me a bit. But I guess that's a skill issue😆

Had this for about a week now, upgrading from the Fold 6 and previously Fold 4. All I can say is WOW! The feeling in your hands is unreal, it's so light and thin compared to my Fold 6. The biggest thing for me is the quality of the hinge compared to its predecessors. Locks into place without any sloppy feeling.

So far the experience has been great. Still trying to get used to the small front screen (compared to the 24U) and doing more mult app tasks. There is a learning curve to use the big inner screen. The phone is very slim, even with a case, it is almost the same size as the 24U. Battery life is great, as good as my 24U. Gaming is beautiful. Pair with a mobile controller (like a Gamesir G8+) you got a great handheld device. Great job Samsung. Keep improving the fold line and there will be a lot more customers switching from IOS to Android.

The battery is disappointing, I haven't been using my phone excessively and the battery is going down much quicker than I'd expected, especially on a brand new phone. I specifically chose this phone for the camera as I thought it would be better than the Pixel but some of the photos I'm taking aren't very sharp and that's not from a distance at all so I definitely expected better quality. I love the big display and you can barely see any crease at all and it's so handy for multitasking but it's not enough for me to overlook the battery and camera.

The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

The screen is awesome for the brightness and the bump in size. The battery, a constant worry with the 6, is not even close to a stressor here. Pretty much the only thing I wish it had was the s pen. While not a power user, I was starting to become one until I heard Sammy was not going to bring it back to t8 line up. Seems silly given how powerful Samsung Notes are, but I digress. If you are not a die hard s pen lover and have a 6 or older, the 8 ultra is totally worth it!

I chose to upgrade because the size, battery, and internals were all major upgrades and I couldn't be happier. I mainly watch videos on my phone but with the new cameras I am excited to be able to take much better and high quality photos. I was blown away by the difference in weight and thickness of the phone and how much nicer it is it have a more traditional sized screen comparable to other candy bar phones while still being able to use the internal screen. Needless to say I plan on continuing to use the z fold line up as long as they are made.

I chose the Fold Ultra 8 for my newer version, and it is a wonderful product. It has the same basic features as the 6, but with great improvements. The phone is thinner, lighter, has a bigger screen, and new features. I have enjoyed working more with Gemini to accomplish a few tasks quicker and can't wait to spend a little more time exploring. There are some new features with photos, circle and search, and many AI features. I highly recommend any Z series Fold, but especially the Ultra 8.

The folding mechanism seems more sturdy, the crease on the inner screen is basically non-existent during typical usage, and the phone is so light! It's amazing that this is so much more improved than other folding phones while being so slim and nice to hold and easy to read. I've been putting it through its paces with gaming a lot as well, and the battery has held strong and barely drains compared to previous models. This is a seriously good phone, and if you enjoyed previous folding phones - you'll love this one.

They have lessened the crease, put better cameras in and it comes with the latest android software. I have been a Fold user since the Fold 3 and I don't see myself going back. I use the multitasking split screen feature almost everyday. The phone is buttery smooth and feels like a normal candy bar phone when Folded. I am really enjoying my experience with this phone and I'm still learning how to take and edit pictures in a more creative way. The new edit feature that allows you to edit photos and video along with the new filters allow you to create some really cool looking media.

This phone has allowed me to multi cast and 2 both at the same time. 80% or more of the day is me being on my phone for work when I'm away from the desk. The battery last all day and the quality and brightness of the screen allows for me to do everything I can do on a computer to now do it on the phone. Outside of work I play racing games and gotcha games with the large screen size and the response time are on par with playing on a pc. This phone allows for me to control my house ecosystem.
One week into Fold 8 ownership and my enthusiasm for new phones design is back! The dimensions are perfect, I make way less typos from the width, and opening up to full screen is just stunning. Well done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was an early adopter of foldables. I got a Z Fold 3 when it first came out and I loved it. I eventually became frustrated with the poor camera, awkward front screen size, and ever-worsening crease. So I left. But I'm back now with the 8 Ultra. Front screen problem? Gone, this aspect ratio is the perfect blend of normal candy-bar style without being too wide. Camera issues? These are flagship cameras for a flagship phone (finally!). And the crease? Barely noticeable, especially when consuming content. I fell in love with foldables for the incredible productivity and now it works great for everyday family use as well. I cannot recommend this phone enough!
about my Z8 I bought my Z8 fold so far loving it best phone I've ever gotten. I enjoy reading emails in the open and love the passport overall size when closed . Batter life is great no problem lasting my 14-hour work days and still having 20% battery life left at end of day.

As this is my first foldable phone, there has definitely been a bit of a learning curve, but it's been a positive experience overall. The larger inner screen is fantastic for browsing, reading emails, multitasking and watching videos. The foldable design took a little time to get used to, but it's quickly become second nature. Performance has been excellent, and the battery life is good, I can get a day and half with normal usage. Which is better than my old phone. Overall, I'm very impressed and would recommend it to anyone considering their first foldable phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded from the Z Fold 6 to the latest Samsung model, and I carefully considered both the Z Fold 8 Wide and the Z Fold 8 Ultra. While I was initially drawn to the Z Fold 8 Wide due to its ideal form factor and aesthetic appeal, I ultimately decided against it because it is a first-generation device and lacks Flex Mode functionality. Despite its compact size, my preference for larger displays, coupled with my need for advanced multitasking capabilities and the enhanced features of Bixby, led me to select what I think will work best for me and what I believe I will enjoy most, so I chose the Z Fold 8 Ultra model. In addition, the absence of a visible crease on the new device is also a significant advantage.

I rarely ever use my tablet due to several reasons. So this Z Fold 8 Ultra will be useful for a smaller type tablet. And it will be much easier to tote.

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
