Absolutely fantastic phone. The Z Fold 8 folds, unfolds, and occasionally reminds me that apparently my bank account is also capable of folding. The screen is gorgeous, the performance is ridiculously smooth, and multitasking is so good that I can now procrastinate on three apps simultaneously. Build quality feels premium, cameras are great, and the whole phone screams “I have my life together” which is impressive considering I bought it mainly to show people that it folds. Battery life? It exists. Price? Also exists. Worth it? Absolutely, if you enjoy premium technology and making financially questionable decisions. 10/10. Would fold again. 📱

I wanted to use it a couple weeks before I had a verdict and honestly I love it. I really enjoy all the different ways you can use the flip and find myself using the front screen for more than I thought I would. I love the fingerprint scanner it's so fast and the screen when open is perfect for my Netflix. The fact that I can flip it closed and it will fit in my shirt pocket just is so helpful when my hands are full. I had the option to switch back if I wanted to for cheaper to a bar type phone and I decided nope I just like the flip too much.

Il est plus fin,moins lourd que mon ancien fold 6.Facile à utiliser ,meilleure visibilité dans les deux situations : plié et surtout déplié. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd Z(ed) Fold and it is a MAJOR engineering advancement.It is so thin & light that you hardly feel it in your pocket (where mine lives most of the time).I am not a 'power' user so the battery well exceeds my daily needs and all tasks it undertakes are completed fast and are a joy to read on the screen. My only niggle is the camera housing spoils the lovely aesthetics of the device but I understand that and expect the Z Fold 9 will make it disappear :-)

I chose this flip phone as it's something different and unique and also really like the pink color it comes in. In my previous phones, I haven't had the option to personalize it as I've had with this phone. I enjoy being able to use the cover screen to do so many things. In the past I've always had to find something to prop my phone on to watch videos and now I'm able to open the phone halfway to use the cover screen and it stands on its own. Overall, it's been a learning curve as this phone operates quite differently as what I've been used to but it's been fun learning and customizing everything which makes the phone feel more personal to me.
I absolutely love the flip series. I was previously an Ultra user but switched when they launched the flip 3. I love having an incredible camera and not losing any screen size while enjoying the convenience of the small size for putting it in my pocket!

I am unfamiliar with the Flip 7 and if it has a big difference compared to the 8 but there are differences compared to the 6! The best feature in my opinion is the ability to use the half screen more. Being able to open apps, and other use that screen more without having to open the whole fun is a game changer. I haven't really used the new camera feature they boast about but I do think it's cool. Another thing to mention is that it did get bigger and more rectangular which doesn't bother me. I really like the phone and I do hope Samsung continues to come out with more features and upgrades to the flip just like they do with the folds!!

The Display is probably my favourite part, its big and bright and makes watching videos and multitasking much better. Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

I LOVE THIS PHONE. If you are like me and keep your phone in your back pocket, this is the phone for you. I was pleasantly surprised at all the great features from just the small front folded screen. Alot of times I don't even need to open my phone. Battery is lasting way longer than my previous phone. Which was a note 20 . Excellent choice

The Vodafone store even told me I was the first person to pick one up from them, which was pretty cool! The phone is incredibly fast and smooth, especially when multitasking. The camera has been a big improvement and takes great photos and videos. The crease is also much less noticeable. I’ve also been impressed with the AI capabilities. There are plenty of useful features that actually make everyday tasks easier rather than just feeling like a gimmick. I’m very happy with the upgrade, I've had the fold 1, 2, 5 and now the 8 ultra. Watching YouTube videos on a larger screen and playing a few mobile games on the big screen also helps with eye strains. However, as a nitpick, I do wish the front screen was a bit bigger. I understand it would cost more, which means I will need to pay more, but I wouldn't mind it if I also get a decently bigger screen on the front. I upgraded from the S24 Ultra, so I still need to get used to the smaller screen and smaller keyboard. For a guy with big-ish hands, the small keyboard does annoy me a bit. But I guess that's a skill issue😆

I love flip because it fits in all my small purses and my pocket in my scrubs. I have noticed a much faster processing capacity and smoother opening from beinf closed. I was hesistant to upgrade this time around since I knew there weren't a lot of changes made from Z flip 7 which I most recently had. This is my 4th Z Flip the size is perfect for pockets, the main screen is protected by the clam fold it's lighter, the hinge is smoother, the "crease" is almost non existent! Colours are better this year too. Linked to all my other devices seamlessly especially my Mini! Battery also lasting longer, always use battery protection so never charge beyond 85% you can now choose your protection level also. Much more responsive and love the prompt features and AI spam alerts. It feels slimmer but still durable and substantial. You won't be disappointed!

The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

Das Galaxy Flip 8 ist noch einmal schlanker als der Vorgänger und hat durch den neusten Prozessor von Exynos 2600, der super auf die Galaxy AI abgestimmt ist, arbeitet das Galaxy Flip 8 deutlich schneller. Der Vorteil des Galaxy Flip 8 zu den Folds 8 ist das noch kleinere und handlicher Format. Das habe ich auch schon beim Galaxy Fold 7 sehr geschätzt. Eine Besonderheit, die dieses Jahr alle Falter betrifft, ist das neue Flex Titanium Display. Dadurch sind die Displays stabiler und eine Falte in der Mitte war für mich nicht mehr wahrnehmbar.

The folding mechanism seems more sturdy, the crease on the inner screen is basically non-existent during typical usage, and the phone is so light! It's amazing that this is so much more improved than other folding phones while being so slim and nice to hold and easy to read. I've been putting it through its paces with gaming a lot as well, and the battery has held strong and barely drains compared to previous models. This is a seriously good phone, and if you enjoyed previous folding phones - you'll love this one.

And needs to re-enter every password - fragile, didnt do anything and there is a noise when open and closing the fold inside. - No more s-pen support, was thinking about editing pdf and stuff. Overall, good quality, good camera, using education discount etc got to arounds 2.3k, worth the value.

Acheté en remplacement d’un galaxy s25 ultra. C’est vraiment pas mal. Avoir un grand écran est tout simplement génial pour le multi-tâche. Faire ses petites formations. Le mobile est hyper réactif. La reconnaissance par empreinte est hyper rapide. Dans la poche des pantalons il rentre plus facilement que mon précédent mobile. En utilisation GPS, c’est incroyable avec un écran plus grand. Je ne l’ai que depuis quelques jours mais je valide déjà. La connexion aux écouteurs est plus rapide. Mon premier téléphone pliable mais certainement pas le dernier. J’ai hâte de voir sur une prochaine itération l'intégration d’un stylet.

Als jemand der bisher hauptsächlich die S-Serie glücklich genutzt hat, war es schon eine kleine Umstellung. Aber der praktische kleine äußere Display erlaubt dir nicht nur nicht nur die Uhrzeit zu sehen, sondern ist ein vollständig funktionaler Bildschirm. Man kann einwandfrei Nachrichten schreiben oder Selfies schießen. Das Aufklappen geht auch reibungslos. Man kann den leichten Knick etwas deutlicher sehen und fühlen als bei der neuen Fold Serie. Trotzdem stört mich der Knick nicht und das hochwertige Material verstärkt den Eindruck, dass dieser Bildschirm mich lange Zeit begleiten kann.

Ich bin mega überrascht worden, wie leicht es ist. Mit nur 215g gibt es einen sehr großen Bildschirm mit einer Diagonale von über 20cm. Der Bildschirm ist sehr klar und scharf. Aufteilung ist sehr einfach und übersichtlich. Technisch ist es sehr fortschrittlich und auf dem neuesten Stand der Technik. Der Prozessor ist der neueste auf dem Markt von Snapdragon Generation 5. Sehr lange Akkulaufzeit von 27h und 5000mAh. Es gibt verschiedene Optionen der Speicherkarte, von 256GB bis 1TB. Es ist viel leichter zu öffnen als die Vorgänger.

Ich hatte ein Samsung S24 Ultra, ein Top Gerät mit toller Ausstattung. In der täglichen Nutzung war es für mich leider zu schwer und unhandlich. Im Urlaub habe ich dann bei einem Mitreisenden das Flip 7 gesehen und war sofort sehr angetan. Also habe ich bei den Flip 8 Vorbesteller Aktionen zugeschlagen und es bis jetzt keinen Moment bereut. Super kompakt und durchdachte Bedienung. Die Kamera kann zwar nicht mit der des S24 mithalten, für den Alltag aber qualitativ voll in Ordnung. Im Urlaub filme ich sowieso mit Insta360 und DJI Cams, daher für mich nebensächlich. Ein kleiner Nachteil ist die eher langsame Ladgeschwindigkeit des Akkus, kann ich aber mit leben.

The 8 does have decent updates; however, these updates are more so for convenience rather than needs for increased usability. For me personally, I could've gone without the upgrade to the 8. I only upgraded due to the rumors of this being the last flip so I wanted to make sure I had the latest version if this were to be true. I think if you enjoy the flip 7 and don't need or can't afford the upgrade, then you're good and aren't missing out on much.

The Flip8 fits in my pockets so much better than my last small galaxy S24. And, I enjoy the retro feeling of flipping the phone open! The Flip8 may not have noticeable advancements from my last S24, but I am enjoying the style. The screen is great. The battery life is good, but not a huge improvement over other new phones. That would be my only criticism. It's all about the compact size for me. Please don't stop making Flips! And, please keep making phones in light colors. It's easier to find in a bag.

I saw the major improvement to front screen aspect ratio and thickness in the Z Fold 7 and was super keen. Z Fold 8 Ultra continued the upgrades and made the crease less noticeable so I immediately pre ordered. Been using it for 2 weeks now and even my partner, who's using a non-android device (iykyk) is jealous. Super happy but also super excited at the direction samsung folds are going. The standard Fold 8 also doesnt fall far behind so I'm keen to try that a few generations in.

The responsiveness of the phone is impeccable and is extremely smooth, the new silicon carbon battery allows for your flagship battery life whilst making the phone slimmer, which shows in the crease now taking a huge visual decrease seen in other fold phones and also the hinge being smooth and durable to allow easy opening. And finally with the new titanium screen fitted into the screen the durability has stepped up dramatically.

The camera is much improved and the battery life feels a lot better. I love the amount of care and thought Samsung gave to the external screen, what you can do now on the outside is so impressive it's almost like having two phones in one. The color is also very nice with the pink tone. Also the opening and closing now is much better than before it has a more satisfying click when it opens and closes. Samsung also continues to do an incredible job with the crease in the screen when the Z Fold 8 is opened.

Le Z Flip8, c’est le genre de téléphone dont je pensais que le côté pliable serait surtout un gadget… jusqu’à ce que je commence à l’utiliser au quotidien. Finalement, c’est justement ce que j’apprécie le plus : le fermer après avoir répondu à un message ou terminé un appel est devenu un petit réflexe assez satisfaisant ;) et surtout il se fait vraiment discret dans la poche. Malheureusement la coque le gonfle un peu, mais bon.... J’aime aussi le fait qu’il ne ressemble pas à tous les autres smartphones. Il a son petit caractère, sans sacrifier le confort d’utilisation une fois ouvert. Après quelque temps avec, revenir à un téléphone classique me semblerait presque bizarre.

Passer de l'ultra à ce modèle pliable est un changement radical. Si l'on commence par l'esthétique, il est carrément beau, avec des matériaux de grande qualité. Je dois dire qu'il est plus confortable à porter dans ma poche que mon ancien ultra. Außerdem ist das Fold spürbar dünner und noch etwas leichter geworden. Dadurch liegt es viel angenehmer in der Hand. Die Kamera möchte ich noch ausführlicher testen, aber der erste Eindruck ist schon richtig stark – endlich auf S26-Niveau! Laut Samsung soll der Akku jetzt problemlos einen vollgepackten Arbeitstag durchhalten. Wenn das im Alltag genauso klappt, kann die Powerbank künftig wohl zu Hause bleiben. Ein bisschen schade finde ich allerdings, dass Samsung auf den S Pen und integrierte Magnete für kabelloses Laden verzichtet hat. Hoffentlich kommen beide Features mit der nächsten Generation zurück.Ich upgrade definitiv! 🙂

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so I have gone from flip 6 to 7, and now 8. I really like the flip. It's a good form factor in my pocket. This one is only a slight upgrade, though. Camera etc are much the same. The more powerful chip is noticeable when in use. My biggest issue is battery. It didn't need to be slimmer and lighter, because it was already a compact size. It needed a bigger capacity battery, that doesn't run so hot. This thing gets insanely hot if, say, you are running android auto with sat nav going. To the point where the phone shuts down. Not good, during a long car journey to somewhere you don't know. So, this has not changed from the 7. I was hoping it would. Everything else is good.

Es wiegt tatsächlich nur 180g. Das Gewicht ist sehr angenehm und bietet dabei eine tolle und lange Akkulaufzeit von bis zu 31 Stunden. Das ist beachtlich. Es ist zudem ultradünn und hat ein 4,1 Zoll Frontdisplay und ein 6,9 Zoll Hauptdisplay. Es passt genauso gut in die Hemdtasche, wie das neue Galaxy Z Fold8. Die Camera macht eine guten Eindruck mit einer 50 MP Hauptkamera und einer 12 MP Ultraweitwinkelkamera. Mit dem Außendisplay kann man direkt scharfe Selfies mit der Hauptkamera fotografieren. Die verfügbaren Farben sind Pink, Graphite, Cream und Mint.

The hinge was never a problem on my 5, and it seems to be even smoother on this one, and no screen creased yet, although, that never really bothered me anyway. I have recently discovered "Bixby" as well. I always knew it was a thing on my old phone, but never used it, as I thought, well, if I have Google, why do I need Bixby?? It is SO GOOD! Now I can send a WhatsApp, or add to my notes, see the status of my washing machine etc, all without typing a thing! All in all, I love it, thanks!
