[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 after using five different Pixel devices over the years, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. I loved the wider passport form factor of the original Pixel Fold, and Samsung nailed that exact ergonomic sweet spot with a build that is sleeker, lighter, and more refined. The outer screen feels natural for everyday one-handed use, while opening it up provides an incredible canvas for multitasking and productivity. What brought me over is that Samsung has continued to innovate and push hardware engineering forward with each generation. The hardware feels premium, fast, and remarkably durable. Cannot recommend this phone enough!

Hello Samsung. Just wanted to thank y'all for these new Z FOLDS (8 & 8 ULTRA). Based on what i have seen and felt, if i may make ONLY 2 suggestions. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, Make the z fold 9 with the same hinge as the z fold 8 ultra and give it the same camera 200mp. Other than that, I would have boughten the z fold 8 over the 8 ultra due to its size and functionality. I hope this reaches you well and have high hopes for the passport phone (z fold 8) next year. If you make this work....best bet, I WILL be upgrading to this phone for sure as this is what my wife and I really wanted until we found out the hinge, camera, & also battery life. Thanks.

Overall, I’m very happy with this phone. The large inner screen feels almost like a small tablet, which makes reading, browsing the web, checking messages and multitasking much more comfortable than on a regular phone. The design is also very practical because it is still compact enough when folded. The only downside I have noticed so far is that when using the front screen, some apps can be a bit slow to respond. Occasionally I have had to close the app and reopen it to make it work properly again. Hopefully this can be improved with future software updates. Apart from that, the phone is excellent and the big screen experience is really impressive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Z Fold 8 for my wife for the redesigned size. She moved from a Flip to a Z Fold 7 last year and loved the features of the Fold but preferred the size of the flip. This phone delivers high end features with the design and enjoys. Still working through all the customization options but really like the broad array of settings and personalization of this phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised to see the new fold phone being shrunk slightly in height, but the extra width did intrigue me, leading to this being the device that I chose. Coming from the Flip 6, this device is much faster and the battery life lasts much longer. I cannot speak on the A.I. functions because I usually avoid those. The screen display is vastly superior to my old phone, as well. Using the device open shows a very lovely screen that feels nice to the touch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is an amazing phone. The build quality is excellent, the size is perfect for watching videos and contents. I can read comic books on the front screen but opening the fold 8 to read books is so much better. Because it's lightness my hands don't get tired holding it up. Ilooove this phone.

I really loved my Flip 3, and then I got the S24 Ultra, which had an amazing camera and was a great all-around phone, though a bit big for my pocket. Now I'm on the Fold 8, and I'm super impressed with how it folds and its slim compact size, and also Samsung does the BEST trade-in deals. The screen and battery are awesome. But, I'm really let down about the camera. For this price, I expected a telephoto lens or better optical zoom. When I tried to zoom in about 15 meters, the quality was pretty bad. Samsung team, you could've made it perfect by adding another camera or better optical sensor, making it a truly outstanding product. It's a real letdown, I feel like I have a camera from 2 years ago.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im so glad I chose this phone! I've had nothing but great experiences with it, and I'm still learning things it can do every day. I love to watch videos and this phone seems built for exactly that. Whether I'm watching the outer screen turned to the side for a quick short video, or need the cinematic experience of the larger inner screen, this device has me covered. When opened and held horizontal for apps like YouTube or vertical for apps like Facebook, the inner surface advantage comes alive. Oh, and I can reach everything with one hand now when it's closed! Can't say enough about the form factor. Great purchase 10 out of 5 stars, I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think Samsung nailed it with the Fold8, the size, the hinge mechanism, the screen viewing ration when folded and unfolded, it is impressive and once you get used to it you can't go back to normal phones. Battery capacity is huge and certainly lasts for a full day with constant usage, and the phone form factor is durable but worth investing in a rugged cased to protect such massive investment. Screen is bright and very responsive when folded and unfolded, really love watching videos on this phone, and more importantly choose the right case that support vertical kickstand (not just horizontal) to be sure you are most enjoying the screen view.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size and shape of this phone is unique and this is definitely the best Fold phone to date. The thinner, lighter design compared with other Fold devices makes for a more user friendly experience whilst still offering the front screen as a quick use tool and the larger fold screen as a small tablet all in one. Ive put a 360 case on it as i will drop it and this is still no thicker than the average phone in a case. Battery so far is more than i need for heavy daily use and the speed and response is exceptional. The fold mech is strong and durable, holds firmly closed until openeded and snaps closed when finished. Best Samsung phone to date.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third foldable phone. I used to own galaxy Z fold 2 and Z fold 5. Both were pretty good but this one feels and is even better. For me the size is perfect, you can use the entire phone with a single hand even when you are using it as tablet mode. I think the technology got pretty much improved for the foldable system, it feels smooth when you fold and unfold the phone. Although the cameras are not the ones as the ultra the photos are very good. Also you can see that the battery lasts longer as the previous foldable phones as well as my galaxy s25 ultra. So Big improvement there too. Definitely my best foldable phone so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this let go of my Ultra 23 because I have been wanting a fold forever. The flip felt too small and I have been an Ultra girl since the note series. This phone ferls great in my hand. It feels like a mini book or even like a compact mirror. The screen is responsive. Flips through pages quickly. The colors of my videos, pictures and movies look stunning. I think the sound is louder than my S23 Ultra. My daughter complained it was too loud but not for me, lol. It's a great little phone and I can't wait until I can customize it even more. It's beautiful and sleek. I love the fingerprint sensor on the side. It responds quickly to unlock.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Z Fold8. It's unique size has been nice to use. The outer screen is handy for quick reviews of text and emails. Videos look sharp and fill the screen. Music apps look novel and remind me of music players of old. The small size make it comfortable to carry in a pocket. The large inner screen is a good size for productivity. My web based tools have space to use comfortably. Something to note are the really small font sizes. That will will be personal to each person but takes a few tries as it may affect how apps are displayed. Also, since most apps aren't optimized for these screen sizes, some will look off like only showing in the middle of the screen in landscape or running off a side in portrait.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the Fold 6 and thought moving to the Fold 7 was an evolution change, but moving to the Fold 8, wow! The size is perfect, it fits into your hand and looks right. Then you open it up and it transforms, pictures, video and books just fit the this screen ratio. The hinge works better than the Fold 7, opening easier and snaps open. The crease I have forgotten about. I didn't notice it on the Fold 7, but the screen is so much better. I never thought the Fold 7 was a slouch but the 8 seems so much more smoother and responsive. One UI 9 has some great improvements and the integration with the AI makes tasks and work flow so much easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my phone for basically everything. I read, surf the internet and play games. My last phone was the s23 ultra for the display size and the CPU was pretty alright. But now I game waaaaay more on my phone when I'm not home and I read a lot more Manga and comics so I felt like I had to chose the fold 8. The compact size of the front is perfect for tiktok and I perfer reading fanfics and books on the front display. Inside is THE PERFECT SIZE FOR MANGA AND COMICS! It is the same size as the paperwhite 12th gen. Only downside is no pen and the inner camera should be more to the corner cause it does mess the menu in a few gacha games like HSR.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had the Z flip 5, which I have had now for three years. I loved having a smaller phone, but I also used it for it's bending capability. I planned on getting the new Z flip 8 but when I saw this model I knew it was for me. It's smaller than average phones, and of course it unfolds to a much larger screen. I've missed having a phone that I could use without opening it. Today was the first full day of using it and I used the front screen to watch some videos and slightly opened the phone so it stood on its own. Absolutely loved it. I will now watch movies on the inside screen and i can't wait. This is such a smart move for Samsung!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While it took a brief adjustment period to get used to the shorter height, I chose this device because it delivers easily the best form factor available. It's wonderfully compact when folded, but unfolding it into a mini tablet completely changes the experience. Videos look fantastic on the inner display, and the anti-reflective screen coating makes a massive difference for visibility. The upgraded faster charging is a welcome quality-of-life improvement, and the cameras are completely sufficient for everyday photos. Most of all, it brought back that genuine sense of excitement for mobile technology that smartphones have lacked for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the galaxy z fold 8 and I don't regret it one bit. The keyboard is nice and wide making it hard to type incorrectly. When opened the screen is amazing! Watching Netflix and YouTube on this is seriously impressive. When I want to play games I open it up and now I have a tablet, it really blew my expectations out of the water. I really like that the finger print reader is in the power button it makes more sense to have it there. This phone is way louder than my s26 was. The compact size of this phone when closed should be the new standard, it just feels more natural. I dont see myself ever going back to a candy bar shaped phone ever again.

The passport type shape is really appealing to me and its been a dream to consume content on. The device is very responsive and I havent had any kind of slowdowns at all, everything is instant and smooth. The battery life is really good too! I like the new si-c battery, it lasts ages and I havent had any issues with it at all- plus it keeps the device sleek and thin. The device itself feels very sturdy, it's well made and I have no concerns of it breaking. The hinge feels very snappy and premium and I havent had any issues with it at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Straight of the box i thought what a cool phone. Easy to set up,had it next to my S24 and it picked my phone up instantly. The Display is fantastic and extremely clear. The Hinge in the fold is very strong but not to stiff and is easy to open. I have my Battery set to 80 percent but everyday use, it doesn't drop below 50 percent, which is miles better than my S24. This isn't a Flimsy phone, it's quite robust and feels very strong in your hand. Searching through apps, it's really quick and very responsive and you can have multiple pages and apps open at the same time. This is a great upgrade from my S24, glad I got one. You won't be disappointed 😉

I have used the Fold 4, Fold 6, and now I’ve upgraded to the Z Fold 8 and I am genuinely amazed by the new form factor. The Z Fold 8 is incredibly slim and feels so much more comfortable to hold in the hand. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose a Galaxy fold 8 because the form factor is a breath of fresh air. I love the fact that the shorter slightly wider aspect ratio fits videos nearly perfectly even when folded. As an engineer myself I appreciate efficiency and the ergonomics combined with the aspect ratio is the best of all worlds. Whether it's scrolling on social media or watching a video it feels right. I've been switching back and forth between my old s24 ultra and this phone and the s24 ultra now feels too long. Definitely not for everyone but the fact that Samsung gives you the option is greatly appreciated. I do not see myself going back to a long slab phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a Samsung loyalist for over 15 years, I’ve used every generation of foldables from the original Z Flip to the 7th gen. I chose the Z Flip line in the first place because a small, compact size is a must for fitting into my small purses. This year, I chose to switch to the Z Fold 8, and it’s the best of both worlds! I absolutely love this new design! The new, lighter design still fits comfortably in my small bags, while the larger outer screen gives me significantly more productivity on the go. Combined with top-tier performance and a gorgeous inner display, Samsung has finally perfected the foldable form factor! I recommended to all my friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] **Galaxy Z Fold 8 Review: Light, Sleek & Easy to Use** I’ve always used foldables because I genuinely wanted a different form factor than the standard candy bar phone, but past generations always came with real compromises. **I chose** the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 to see if Samsung could finally refine the hardware, and they nailed it. Upgrading to this generation made me realize how far the technology has come. The first thing that blew me away is just how light this device feels. Weighing only 201 grams, it’s actually lighter than a lot of traditional flagships, which means no more hand fatigue when scrolling or typing. Sitting at just 9.7 mm when folded, it slides into a pocket without feeling like a bulky brick. The cover screen aspect ratio feels completely natural, making one-handed use totally effortless. I can easily reach my thumb across the display to reply to texts or check notifications with one hand while holding a cup of coffee with the other. Unfolding the phone is where the screen design really shines. The 7.6-inch main display is bright, crisp, and gorgeous for watching videos or multitasking. Samsung’s new titanium layer underneath makes the crease practically disappear when looking at it straight on. Closed, it gives you smooth single-handed utility; open, it’s an expansive tablet canvas. Samsung built an absolute winner here, and it’s easily a 9.5 out of 10 for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was debating upgrading from the fold 7. Ultimately I chose to upgrade to the Fold 8 because the aspect ratio and the new design is amazing. It is the ultimate daily driver. I use my phone alot to watch movies, YouTube videos, and for reading. Reading on this phone is so comfortable on both the inner and outer displays. I find that in using the inner display alot more than I did on my previous fold because the new dimensions make it feel so much better in my small hands Also, the phone is just beautiful. I love that videos take up the whole screen on the outer display and the brightness on this phone makes everything look sharper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this device after much consideration, and I have been using it for a couple of days now with great satisfaction. The overall design, weight, in-hand feel, and ergonomics are fantastic. Both the cover display and the unfolded main screen look amazing and offer an incredible viewing experience. If I had to point out a few minor drawbacks, the placement of the heat dissipation feels a bit noticeable during heavy use, and I occasionally experience slight stuttering on a few specific apps. However, these are minor details compared to how good the rest of the phone is. Overall, it is an outstanding device and I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After getting my wife a Fold 7, I've been totally amazed by these foldable phones. You get the best of both worlds – a regular phone on the outside and a tablet inside! When my S23 started slowing down and the battery was dying fast, I knew it was time for a Fold. I knew the Fold 8 was coming out, so I waited and watched prices for both the new one and the Fold 7. After snagging a sweet deal on the Fold 8, it was a no-brainer. This phone is everything I hoped for and more. It's super fast, holds a charge forever, and the inner display crease is barely there – you actually forget you have a tablet that folds in half! Seriously great, no regrets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the perfect phone. I have had every model year of the Z Flip and several of the Z Fold. The Z Fold 8 is the perfect marriage of the two, and I chose it to replace my everyday use of the Flip. Within the first day, it became clear I wasn't going back to the Flip, which surprised me. I rarely used the cover screen on the Flip, although I had all the tools to do so. With the Fold 8, I use the front screen a lot and don't feel the need to open it every time I use it. And critical factor is that it fits in my pocket, which was a downfall with the previous Folds - too cumbersome for carrying. All in all, it's pretty perfect and I'm glad I chose it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 because I wanted a phone that could handle everyday tasks while also giving me more screen space when I need it. I use it throughout the day for messaging, browsing, watching videos, managing emails, and staying organized. The larger unfolded display makes multitasking much more comfortable, especially when I want to use two apps without constantly switching between them. When folded, it still works well for quickly checking notifications and handling regular phone tasks. The Fold8 has made my daily routine more convenient and enjoyable, and it feels like having both a phone and a small tablet in one device.

I use the cover screen for quick messages, calls, and checking notifications. When I open the phone, the larger display is very useful for watching videos, gaming, studying, and doing schoolwork. I also like using multiple apps at the same time, especially when I need to take notes while reading something online. The phone feels fast, the screen looks clear, and the folding design makes everyday tasks more convenient. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Fold 8 (wide) is a great new phone in regards to the external screen and internal folding screen. My only negative thought is no 200 megapixel main sensor and no telephoto lens, very disappointing on such a high end phone with such a high cost. As you will learn due to the Fold 8's high volume of sales, many people like larger phones but not necessarily folding ones. I suggest Samsung consider making a larger nonfolding phone, similar to the width of the Fold 8's external screen but also taller. Bring back the old Samsung Mega branding or call it the Samsung Titan. Again, their is a large market for larger phones especially in this day and age.

It's brilliant to see that you're enjoying the slim design, comfortable feel and impressive battery life of the all-new Galaxy Z Fold8, which has become the best Samsung you've ever owned! At just 201 g and 4.5 mm when unfolded, the Fold8 is Samsung's lightest fold yet, while the redesigned Armor FlexHinge provides a smoother folding experience. The 7.6-inch main display also gives you that immersive larger-screen experience when you need it, while the powerful and smart 4,800 mAh battery is designed to keep you going for longer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off I chose this phone to replace a Fold 5. I do like this form factor. I mainly use this for day to day browsing, media, and light gaming. For me it was a good upgrade from the 5. But there are some deficiencies. The speakers are a glaring issue for me, they sound significantly worse than the 5. It is really thin and too lightweight. Without a good case that adds weight and grip it is difficult to hold on to. It does have a very snappy processor and apps respond well. Video on the inner display is were this phone shines. Crease is barely noticeable. I would recommend this phone for both new to foldables and returning users.

I ended up returning the Razr for software alone. One UI is incredible and the Z Fold 8 is like having 3 devices in one. I rarely take photos but it's strange Samsung purposely set up a gen 2 with upgraded cameras. Keep us loyal at the onset! This device is amazingly light, strong, last long, has amazing screens, so easy and fun to use. Finally a phone is fun again! I got so sick and bored of the slabs and remote style. This for. Factor is perfect! Love it. So glad I chose to try this out, keeping it until gen 2.

This phone redefines the concept of having a tablet in your pocket. I work in the IT field which means I handle a lot of documents and spreadsheets daily. I now only carry this device and nothing else. The battery actually lasts longer than my 26 Ultra which still blows my mind. The cameras are more then adequate for your everyday needs! If you get the chance go get this phone in your hand, you will be leaving the store with it. Oh and make sure you get a watch too you're going to want that ☺️

I charged it over night and by the end of the day it was 60 percent absolutely chuffed. Flawless display and responsive ,and im blown away by the simplicity of data transference. Since the first flip samsung has really progressed with the hinge movement . You cnt the see middle hinge on the display ,the protective screen use to come after a year but with last flip it did not happen .Durability has come a long away. No chipping, bending scratches. I am the biggest fan now as samsung has proven themselves in every aspect ."Always One step ahead in the Game ".

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having held onto my S23 Ultra for the last 3 years, I was very tempted by the Z Fold 8 Ultra! However, in the end I opted for the Z Fold 8 because the form factor felt different. I am obsessed with how good this phone is to use just with the external screen and use that easily 80% but possibly 90% of the time. The battery is currently lasting me 2 days which is outstanding for such a small form factor. The foldable screen once opened is then truly something special. The phone is brilliantly responsive between screens and feels seamless. The camera is really only average when trying to zoom, but for normal photos of subjects nearby is perfectly acceptable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Title: Samsung Galaxy Fold 8 — Premium, powerful, and truly versatile I’ve had my Fold 8 for a few weeks now, and I’m thoroughly impressed. The build quality feels solid and luxurious — much more durable than earlier foldables. When folded, it’s sleek and fits comfortably in my pocket; unfolded, the 7.6-inch display is stunning: sharp, vibrant colours, and super smooth scrolling. Multitasking is seamless — I can watch a video, reply to emails, and browse the web all at once. The camera quality is excellent both day and night, easily matching top flagships. Battery life is great for a full day of heavy use, and charging is fast. If you want something different that actually makes life easier, the Fold 8 is amazing. Slightly pricey, but you absolutely get what you pay for — premium feel, cutting-edge tech, and great versatility. Highly recommended!

It's also great to hear that you're impressed with the camera performance, battery life and refined design. The Fold8 combines a 50MP wide camera with a 50MP ultra-wide camera, while its 4,800mAh battery is rated for up to 26 hours of video playback. At just 201g and 4.5mm when unfolded, it also offers a remarkably slim and lightweight foldable experience. It's been little over a week since I received Z fold 8 and I have been really impressed with it. The design feels slimmer and more refined, while still giving you the convenience of a phone that opens into a much larger screen. The large inner display is excellent for watching videos, browsing the web, multitasking, and using multiple apps at the same time. The outer screen is also much more comfortable to use for everyday tasks. Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold8 is an impressive upgrade and feels very premium. This is one of the best foldable phones and mini-tablet in one device, it is very expensive but totally worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a long time Samsung Z Galaxy product user and I chose the new Fold 8 because of the form factor. The phone is the exact size of a Travel passport albeit a few mm thicker. I can hold the phone in my back pocket without it sticking out. I like that I can do most of my tasks using the apps on the cover screen because of the larger size. The rest of the phone features are what Samsung is known for. As for any negatives, I have owned previous Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Fold phones versions and have had cover screen and screen issues. Hopefully Samsung has figured out to avoid the problem in it's 8th version of the phones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I was a little nervous switching to a foldable, but I am SO glad I did. The biggest win for me is the front screen—you can actually type on it normally with one hand now without making a million typos! Opening it up feels like magic every single time. It’s perfect for watching YouTube, reading, or having two apps open side-by-side. It’s also way thinner and lighter in my pocket than I expected. Battery easily lasts me all day with normal use. If you’re on the fence, just get it! Pros: Cover screen feels normal, super fun to watch videos on, fits easily in pockets. Cons: A bit of an investment, but totally worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 because of the new form factor. I had the Flip's, from the Flip2 to the Flip5, because I missed having a compact phone, but the Fold (now "Fold Ultra") was always glaring at me in the distance, judging like a Shiba Inu, as if saying "You'll never get this! You'll never get this! La-la-la" but it was just too large and heavy. Fast forward to the Fold8, the perfect "happy medium," that "just right" bowl of porridge that I couldn't pass up, and... Wow! I'm glad that I chose to upgrade to the Z Fold8 now. Today, Samsung, I break the cage, "I get this!" and I high-five you. The bigger battery is very nice!

I started using Samsung phones way back with the 'S' series, then through the years, wanted more screen space, so the Flip 3 was next in line. Great phone until I changed for the Fold 4. My daughter still enjoys my Fold 4, but I moved up to the Fold 6 , then to the Fold 7, and now to the Fold8. This phone is unbelievable, so many options are available especially when you download Samsung apps like Good Lock and Navstar, and more. Many of my friends have changed to Samsung because they want to experience the screen size as well as the extras like the Samsung watch , that links in to the phone perfectly.

I am very happy with the form factor. I am coming from a Fold 6 which I found to be too narrow when folded. The added width makes it easier for me to type on the keyboard. The shorter height makes it easy to reach the top and bottom of the screen when folded. There is less wasted space when watching videos unfolded. I think my ideal phone would be this form factor with better cameras. I am noticing some third party apps not accommodating the screen resolution properly but assume things will improve over time. The battery so far seems good. It is lasting longer than my Fold 6 probably due to a combination of larger battery size and degradation in my old phone.

The new size and aspect ratio is huge game changer. Swapping from the standard candybar style phone to this was interesting, but we'll worth it. The fact that the whole phone can fit in my hand while closed is one of my favorite things and if I need a larger screen, it's just one fold away. The 4:3 aspect ratio of the inside screen is great for videos and even playing games, especially rhythm games! The battery seems to last pretty much as long as the S26U I traded in, so that's great. Some apps need to be updated by their developers, but overall, most apps operate perfectly on this phone. 10/10 would love to see what else Samsung could improve on this phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 because this is exactly the kind of foldable phone I’ve been waiting for. I really like the new wider design—it feels compact and comfortable when folded, but once you open it, you get a beautiful large screen that feels like having a mini tablet in your pocket. The phone is surprisingly light and thin for a foldable, and the overall design feels much more practical for everyday use. The large inner display is great for watching videos, browsing, reading, and multitasking. For me, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 finally feels like the right balance between a smartphone and a tablet. I'm happy I chose to wait on upgrading until this device came out! The experience I've had consuming media on this has been great, where short form videos are the focus on the main screen, and whole TV shows or movies are enjoyable on the large inner screen. One thing I miss between the Z Fold 8 and my old Z Flip 7... flex mode! It was so convenient to prop my phone open to watch something, read a recipe while cooking, etc. I didn't want a big phone like the Z Fold 8 Ultra, so I'm missing out on that key feature.

Fits great in jeans pockets and the right size to do everything on the go right on the cover screen. Fold 8 open 😜 and its like a kindle size device. Super comfortable to hold, genuinely the perfect size for other tasks that require more attention. The display quality is fantastic So far. The battery life is great. I've had it 4 days now and only charged it twice. I can't comment on durabilty just yet as ive not had it long enough but It eems solid. With the fold8, I find myself using both screens evenly. I love consuming social media through the inner screen. My main reason for getting it was the long tablet feel of using the inner screen in portrait form. And it has not disappointed at all. I did worry about apps not working given other reviews, but none of my apps have had any conflicts or issues. The software has definitely prepared to make sure most apps work properly with both screens. 10/10 would recommend. Ps: this would be amazing with a 6000 mAH battery.

I purchased one for my wife and subsequently acquired one for myself. The form factor is exceptional, unparalleled by other devices. Having owned numerous Samsung products, I can confidently state that this model surpasses all previous iterations. Its compact size, reminiscent of a passport, represents an ideal design for mobile phones. The battery life extends throughout the day, and the hinge mechanism demonstrates robust construction. The display offers pristine clarity in both closed and open configurations, and the device exhibits remarkable speed and responsiveness. Overall, it is a durable and solidly built phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with the Galaxy Z Fold 8. One of my favorite things is how compact and comfortable it feels when folded. The smaller size makes it much easier to hold and use with one hand, which is very convenient for everyday use. The new hinge design also feels like a nice improvement. It feels smooth and solid, and the crease on the main screen is noticeably less visible, giving the large display a cleaner and more premium look. Overall, the Fold 8 combines the convenience of a compact phone with the benefits of a large screen when you need it. Great design, easier one-handed use, improved hinge, and a better-looking main display. Very happy with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had multiple foldables from Honor over the last few years and this year I traded in my Honor Magic V5 for the Z Fold 8. And I am so glad I did. The form factor is far better, it's lighter, the display is epic, the crease is nearly non-existent, the battery is superb and holding the device in the hand is great. It's easily pocketable and is very snappy to use, very responsive and so far, I cannot say enough great things about it. I had questions about the camera but for standard photography, I really can't complain. I don't use a zoom lens so I don't miss the added camera in the Fold 8 Ultra. Superb all round device!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to see "arriving August 5th" in my email. My birthday is tomorrow and after unboxing, I cannot think of a better birthday present. I chose to be part of the z series family starting with the fold 2. I have always been...ok....with it's tall form factor but secretly admired the shape of the pixel fold. When they announced the fold 8....I knew I had to choose this one. Folds are .ore than just an option, they are a multitask necessity. I have chosen to continue being a good user and I do not think I will go back. Great job samsung! Proud to be a galaxy fan since the s2 and Samsung user since the blackjack 2.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Z fold 6 for 2 years and very happy with the durability however the weight of 239 grams is still on the heavy side and the almost square aspect ratio of the inner screen is not made for media consumption. The best feature is the under camera display which give the z fold 6 an immersion experience. I chose to upgrade to Z fold 8 due to its new aspect ratio format bothe the outer and inner display. It does not have the udc inside camera but I am willing to trade the feature for a more thinner and a lot lighter z fold 8. Also the almost invisible inner screen crease have me sold. Thank you Samsung for making such a fine polished product. Happy to recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the winning design of foldable phones for my work phone. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is perfect. A foldable phone that is truly usable folded or Not! I'm in the IT industry and use it for writing bpml, and searching for solutions. When i find documentation that I need to read I unfold and rotate and read like its a good book by the fire. Then when I'm off work it's great for social media and keeping up with world events. From multitasking to email to listening to music. Was concerned about the small passport size and fitting in my jean pocket. But it's not a problem. Fits like a charm, no issues. Well done Samsung!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade my flip 6 to the new Fold 8 because I find myself using my mobile for more than content creation. A big part is office work on the go including Teams, Outlook and CRM activities. With its new form factor it's easy to run a meeting and then do my email follow ups. Using social media apps are a breeze and the expanded display is vivid and smooth visually. The camera works great and the pictures are are crisp looking even in lower light. I love how the front screen is super useful and can run apps, get notifications without having to open the full phone. So far it's a great phone. The future of mobility is here and it's brought to you by Samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade to the Z Fold 8 from the Z Fold 6, and never have I enjoyed an upgrade so much in my life. I love the new shape, the lighter weight, the overall utility, and the displays on this phone. For the first time ever, I actually find myself using the cover screen regularly—something I virtually never did on my old Z Fold 6 because of its narrow, awkward feel. The data transfer and transition process wasn't as seamless as I would have liked, but once that setup bump was out of the way, it became a non-issue. The daily experience with the Z Fold 8 is simply fantastic, and making the switch was 100% worth it.

It's very convenient for carrying in my pocket. The outer screen is a good size with great resolution and good connection. I love the body of the phone. I went with the pistachio and love it. I would love it more if they had offered the Fold 8 in violet shadow. Unfolded, it's perfect for social media and video streaming—no more huge black bars when watching a movie, very thin when unfolded and not heavy. Love the super-fast charge. Overall, loving the phone. Definitely recommended.

It is great for me because I do a lot of work on their phone. The issue I have is how fast it heats up. I had 2 app running on both screen and in less than 20 mins it gave me over heating message. I did update the software as advised, but still feel that it still heats up pretty fast. I took off the thin Samsung case to let it cool down too. I have not tried opening 2 apps on screen since the update. It feel a little warm even with just one app running but not as bad. I guess I will see if this will be my one and only fold phones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never cared about the camera or s-pen support. I just wanted a bigger screen when I wanted it. But the old Zfold models struggled with certain types of content. I am a big manga reader and the zfold qas great for manga, that said it always had wasted space. When I played games like Pokemon Pocket, it had those ugly black bar letterboxing, reading manga it was there, youtube videos it was horrible and for movies I would honestly not find a significant difference with just using the cover display. I chose the Zfold 8 because for what I use my phone for on the daily, my gaming, reading, content consumption and just generally using my phone has become so much better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the new Fold 8 to try the new size, but I am disappointed by the losses on the camera quality starting around 20ft away. In addition, the half folds (L shape) or tent fold (A Shape), don't seem to work that well. It actually measure up well next to my Fold 3, so I turn it long ways to type better, as the wide screen makes the keyboard too long for me. I also miss the full size of the cover screen. It severely displaced my home screen and spit the icons up weirdly over the other panels. Like the left over icons from panel 1, didn't simply get pushed to panel 2? I want to see if I can switch to the Fold 8 Ultra.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Galaxy Z Fold 8, and switching to this wider aspect ratio is an absolute game changer. Closed, the front screen feels like a normal phone instead of a narrow strip, making it so much easier to type fast, check messages, and scroll without constantly having to unfold it. Unfolded, the main display is massive, bright, and perfect for multitasking or running two apps side-by-side. The phone feels noticeably lighter and thinner in your hand, and the crease down the middle is way less visible than on older models. Battery life easily gets me through a full, busy day, and performance is fast and smooth.

It was remarkably easy to set up and transfer from my old device. I think the new passport size and shape is awesome. Traded in my S23 Ultra for the Galaxy Fold 8. Reasons for this were not that my S23 was still great . Reason for upgrading wanted to try a fold and this one was a better form factor than the longer versions, like that the screen without opening is nice use this most of the time my only need for flipping open is media. Movies and U Tube etc. Like the speed and battery life is great. Only thing for some it might be too wide to hold comfortably. Me I have larger hands my spouse small hands and the Fold 8 is harder for her to manage if holding for a longer period of time. As for as durability I'm very careful with my phones case and screen protection. Will see how long it last right now its been with me a couple of weeks. The Cameras great I do not need a phone with huge zooming still have a camera for this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This year, I chose to upgrade from z fold 7 to z fold 8, and I'm so glad I did so! I've been waiting for Samsung to release the passport form factor. The phone feels great in the pocket and in the hand this way. And when you unfold it, you have two distinct orientations that are each suited to their own applications: vertical is great for social media feeds, reading webpages and articles; whereas horizontal is great for multitasking and watching media. I hope THIS form factor gets the ultra moniker next time around, as I have a feeling many people are going to share my opinion that this is the superior form factor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 is an impressive foldable that combines a compact phone with a large 7.6-inch display for multitasking, streaming and productivity. Its slimmer 201g design, improved hinge and much less noticeable crease make it more comfortable and refined than earlier Fold models. Performance is excellent, while the 50MP camera system produces strong results in everyday photography. The main drawbacks are the very high price, the lack of a dedicated telephoto camera and the relatively small 4,800mAh battery. Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold8 is a premium and versatile foldable that is ideal for users who value a large screen and multitasking in a pocketable device.

The jump feels like night and day by comparison. Everytime I find a new feture that my old phone didn't have it's like a present surprise. Audio quality, more features, apps function smoothly. And the Z Fold 8 is very versatile. Love this new selfie option. I have a lot of options for viewing my apps. And I just can't get enough of the compact feel when it's closed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Fold 8 for the screen, and multi window is what makes it a multimedia beast. I'll have a game running on the bottom half while YouTube plays up top and messages come in alongside it — three things at once, all usable, no swapping back and forth. Unfolded it's big enough that I've stopped reaching for a tablet for movies and shows, and the colors hold up in a dark room or outside. The speakers are louder and fuller than I expected from something this thin, and the fold itself feels solid in hand. Folded, it's still just a normal phone for music and podcasts on the go. One device that covers all of it.

So when this version was created, I was super excited because I am a media consumer, and the aspect ratio that you get when you open the phone is truly amazing. I find myself operating on the phone with it closed mostly, and then I'm able to open it for entertainment, which is perfect. It's very lightweight, and I love the faster charging. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a truly remarkable phone, thin and with a very useful foldable large screen. But, it is still lacking a few essential things, as it doesn't have magnetic wireless charging capability despite the fact it doesn't have a pen like the Ultra that apparently is the cause for not introducing this feature in the first place, it is not coming with a a screen protector for the external display as it used to, no ultra fast charger in the box as the old chargers are not ultra fast charging but barely 10-15 W, the battery doesn't last more than the previous models or any S models. Overall it is not worth the full price but if you can get a good discount then it is a good purchase.

We're delighted to hear that you like the slim and lightweight design along with the very convenient folding display of the Z Fold8, Bogdan. We appreciate your feedback regarding magnetic wireless charging, S Pen support, external screen protectors, the included charging cable, and the battery. Whilst the Z Fold8 doesn't have built-in magnets for magnetic charging, it is Qi2 Ready, meaning you can fully unlock magnetic charging capabilities up to 20W speeds by pairing the phone with a magnetic case. Magnetic cases are available on our website here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/aisearch/?searchvalue=z%20fold8%20magnetic%20case The Z Fold8 doesn't support the S Pen due to hardware design, which is focused on folding screen improvement, size, weight, and durability. This decision was taken after direct user feedback. However, you can still use a generic capacitive stylus on the phone. Galaxy Z series phones come with a specially designed screen protector pre-installed on the inner screen, and outer screen protectors can be purchased here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/aisearch/?searchvalue=z%20fold8%20screen%20protector In the box, you will find a USB-C to USB-C cable which supports data syncing and charging up to the phone's 45W limit. Moving on to the battery, the Z Fold8 features a 4,800 mAh battery, and it is a high-density silicon-carbon battery. It's massively enhanced by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor along with innovative Galaxy AI, which means that it delivers much longer power hours than the number would initially suggest. This all helps with the physical size and weight of the phone whilst actually boosting battery performance when compared to predecessors. We hope this information is helpful, and thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts and feedback. ^EW at Samsung Support

I am completely in love with the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8! The updated, wider aspect ratio makes a massive difference in daily use. Having that extra screen real estate means significantly less scrolling whether I'm browsing, reading, or multitasking, and media consumption feels far more immersive. It feels ridiculously lightweight in hand and fits in my pocket effortlessly, yet unfolding it gives you a stunning, tablet-like display that’s genuinely useful. The battery life easily lasts all day, performance is lightning fast, and typing on the cover screen is far more comfortable now. Samsung absolutely nailed the form factor this time around—easily the best foldable on the market!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I choose the zfold 8 because of the new form factor. It is much better tailored for viewing videos and twitch streams. Most features of the phone are an upgrade from my zfold 5, especially the amazing speakers, however, 2 of the main hiccups for me have been tbe RCS chat transfer (when transferring Esim, you wont be able to text anymore unless you do a very long winded process that doesnt always work) and the lack of the camera notch pixels that previously hid the inner camera. Im not sure why the inner screen needs a camera, it majorly discracts from full screen gaming and videos. I can get used to it though.

I've had most phone styles and recently changed from the flip7 as I got sick of having to flip it open to use it. The front screen on the fold8 is perfect for 90% of use. I do multitasking on once open and it does it perfectly with 2 apps open. Only gripe I have is on apps like instagram, it doesn't respond well with me hitting the bookmark button or other types of buttons on other apps where the function sits on the far right of the screen, I believe it's a glitch for the wider format for the front screen. I assume this can be fixed with an update 🙏 other than that - perfect device. Sturdy and feels great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the new size of phone both screens are a great size and it is easy to carry around in pockets and bags. I wasn't sure I would like this phone when I pre-ordered, my doubts were gone in the first hour it is so much fun, the camera is great and using it open makes it a lot better, battery lasts a long time, I love the finger print reader is on the side and not on the screen. If you are on the fence try it, you won't regret it. The hinges are great and no visible line on the screen when open. The speed is great and it is not as fragile as you think so I think it will last before I need to upgrade.

Fantastic to read about how much you are enjoying the Galaxy Z Fold8! The inner screen of this model is perfect for immersing yourself in your favourite content, while the folding design ensures that it remains convenient to carry. It’s a total game changer! ^CL at Samsung Support

I love the phone but I live in FL and Everytime I try to use my Z Fold 8 in direct sunlight it dims the screen a lot. Also when using Maps on my car dash it dims the screen to black and can't see anything. I hope they fix this I'll have to return the phone. My other issue which I can keep ve with this is social media apps cut the videos because of how short the screen is but thats more an app developer issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z-Fold 8 over the 8 Ultra, because I wanted the pocket size feeling of the Z-Flip, with the convenience of the fold-out full screen. I watch a lot of YouTube videos to learn, read kindle books and fly often, so it's very convenient to have a phone, kindle size screen and tablet in one. It's a dream to have it all in a pocket size! The new width of the closed front screen makes it very comfortable to read and type without needing to fold the phone open. I find myself using it closed a lot more than before, saving battery life. Thanks, Samsung, for creating such a perfectly sized fold phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 primarily because I needed a smaller phone to fit in my uniform pocket but still had times I needed a larger screen. The Fold 8 does more than fit the bill. I have found that it responds to inputs and requests quickly and the volume is sufficiently loud. I no longer have to worry about the S Pen falling out as it frequently did on my 25 Ultra. I greatly enjoy the folding feature when I am ready either important emails or documents or relaxing with a book from apps. Once it's time to go to work the phone folds down to an easily manageable small size. Overall great job Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous phone was the Galaxy Z Fold 7 which I loved, but I chose to try the new passport-like form factor with with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and so far I am loving it. It is a bit smaller in total screen size but the new form instantly clicked for my normal phone use, which is primarily video watching and some light mobile gaming. Also with the 7 I found myself immediately rotating the device sideways to get the widest screen possible, whereas with the 8 you are already at the widest possible immediately upon unfolding. I appreciate the lighter weight and I'm also finding the cover screen much more usable than the 7 and a better fit in both my front and back pocket. Recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a long time Samsung phone user, I have to tell you, I've been waiting for this exact form factor in a phone for a very long time. Was absolutely shocked when I saw Samsung was releasing one, and as a fold nonetheless. I am coming from a fold 6, and t in being honest I really wish this had S-Pen support. That is the only thing it's missing. Beyond that, it is just as amazing as I was hoping. Looking forward to the future of this line now, and will definitely be upgrading if they add pen support. Knocked it out of the park with this one Samsung. I chose this among the competitors and am very happy I did.

I have been a big fan of Flip but now Fold 8 is a game changer. I love the screen ratio!! But some app recognize it as tablet and that is the only thing I don't like.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Z fold 8 has been an amazing product so far. I'm glad I chose this phone because it makes reading articles or recipes and streaming TV or videos so much more convenient. It's almost been a week that I've had the device and I'm still learning about cool new features. I previously had a Z flip 7 and I am so happy with the dimensions of the fold 8. I wish they made an "ultra" version in this size. The only reason I didn't get the fold 8 ultra is because of the size and a pretty big downfall of the fold 8 is that there is no flex mode. I'm adjusting to not having that and I'm still loving my new phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a smaller phone in length hut bigger than flip so this is best of both worlds. For me, I'm loving this phone, screen size and display is perfect and perfectly responsive as expected. Durability seems all good but can't say much as only had for a week so far. The hinge is better than before on the Fold 7, feels tighter and more secure. Battery is same as always considering how much I use my phone.

Congratulations on your new Z Fold8, Tish! What a fantastic choice of phone to treat yourself to. We're so pleased you're loving the compact, comfortable size along with the sharp and responsive displays. The 7.6 inch inner screen and 5.5 inch cover screen are both clear, bright, and super responsive, whilst the re-engineered Armor FlexHinge delivers a lighter, smoother, and completely natural folding mechanism. You will be pleased with the ongoing durability of your new phone, thanks to the multi-layered, robust and premium materials throughout, engineered to provide a foldable you can truly rely on. Meanwhile, the 4,800 mAh battery easily delivers the level of reliability you have become accustomed to - perhaps even more so as it is larger than the Fold7 and is supported by the all-new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset. Thanks for sharing your excellent review - we wish you many happy years ahead with your phone. ^EW at Samsung Support
