The Display is probably my favourite part, its big and bright and makes watching videos and multitasking much better. Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

In my research for the next perfect phone, I came close to purchasing something outside of the Samsung ecosystem, something international, and something completely different. I highly recommend the Fold 8 and S26 Ultra, but for my lifestyle, nothing works better for me than the Z Fold 8 Ultra. I chose Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra for mobility yet having the flexibility to be productive on the go. Also the portable big screen for entertainment or presentation was a deal breaker for me. From showing a plan on site to the clients to watching videos and reading articles, there is hands down no other phone with the best battery life, crisp screen, slim design and vivid colorful high res screens. I chose the violet shadow color which I absolutely love. It's dark and now too flashy, perfect for my taste. I just love the phone!

It's now been over a week since I have started using the new Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra and I love it. Watching YouTube videos on a larger screen and playing a few mobile games on the big screen also helps with eye strains. However, as a nitpick, I do wish the front screen was a bit bigger. I understand it would cost more, which means I will need to pay more, but I wouldn't mind it if I also get a decently bigger screen on the front. I upgraded from the S24 Ultra, so I still need to get used to the smaller screen and smaller keyboard. For a guy with big-ish hands, the small keyboard does annoy me a bit. But I guess that's a skill issue😆

I've been using the Fold 8 Ultra for a week after upgrading from my S25 Ultra, and I am loving the multitasking capabilities of this phone. When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first attempt at a folding phone was a Microsoft Surface Duo. Since then I've owned almost every single version of the Zfold series. They just keep getting better and more durable. I chose the Zfold 8 Ultra as an upgrade to my Zfold 7 because of the extra battery capacity, the newer CPU, the better camera, the better screens (love the more matte look over the shiny), and an ever better hinge. Most of the time, I only use the front screen, but if I want to show off a family picture, or zoom in on an article, I just unfold the phone. Most people are absolutely amazed and ask me what the phone is called. The phone size fits well in my back pocket.

I’ve had the Fold8 Ultra for a week now and have been really impressed with it. The Vodafone store even told me I was the first person to pick one up from them, which was pretty cool! The phone is incredibly fast and smooth, especially when multitasking. The camera has been a big improvement and takes great photos and videos. The crease is also much less noticeable. I’ve also been impressed with the AI capabilities. There are plenty of useful features that actually make everyday tasks easier rather than just feeling like a gimmick. Going from the fold 6 to the fold 8 ultra is a huge game changer, bigger cover screen, super slim design, and even better cameras has been such a gamechanger for me. The 200 megapixel main shooter takes amazing photos, and the software enhancement to the pictures is also super impressive. The cover screen of the device is no longer skinny, but a normal sized screen that is way easier to use. I can't recommend this device enough, especially to people who own an older foldable, or just to the everyday person considering this form factor!

Also the screen size wasnt optimal when it was closed. I chose the z fold 8 ultra because of it size when closed for easy access. However when i look at the unfolded screen I get a big smile on my face. The screen is beautiful. I love how when navigating different it splits the open apps and the available apps on different sides of the screen. I just received it and am in love with it. It also has the key plus functionality for my car so i can use my phone as a touchless key. I love love love it.

Easy to grab and has a nice snap feel. The only reason I didnt grab the last year model was because of the battery and the fast charge capability. But now this new phone has 45 watt charge speed and 5000 mAh, just like the S26 ultra. And they werent lying about the improvements they made to the inner screen. You can barely see the crease and it has anti reflection on it too. Being able to also multi-task with google and notes is amazing. I will be sticking with this phone for as long as I can.

It is my 4th upgrade in a row, starting from the Fold 5 and now a days it feels pretty much impossible to me go back to a regular one-screened format phone, not to even think of changing to another brand. The titanium layer is definitely a great feature while keeping the device SO thin thanks to the silicon carbon battery. Definitely best foldable so far, hands down.

So far the experience has been great. Still trying to get used to the small front screen (compared to the 24U) and doing more mult app tasks. There is a learning curve to use the big inner screen. The phone is very slim, even with a case, it is almost the same size as the 24U. Battery life is great, as good as my 24U. Gaming is beautiful. Pair with a mobile controller (like a Gamesir G8+) you got a great handheld device. Great job Samsung. Keep improving the fold line and there will be a lot more customers switching from IOS to Android.

It all happened when I bought my wife are Galazy S26 ultra, I was looking fold with good battery life and the durability also with display and some like Zfold came up on Google that samsung is speculating on this. And I told my self no matter the time I will wait and on my membership samsung a notification came up for me to pick what I like, I selected mobile, electronic as my favourite because I look samsung product my washing machine is samsung, I also use galaxy S25 before I traded it in for Z fold 8 ultra and I also wish to change my TV to samsung too. Honestly I wasn't disappointed with my expectations on the phone, I so much love the phone along with the features it has.

The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

Pro- - Perfect chips, 16gb ram makes it fast with multiple apps open once and not get laggy - Light phone, very minualist, really like the green colour - Light crescent, better foldable experience. - Faster charging speed, easier to open the fold inside Con- - Slow transfer speed, tooks around 3hrs to transfer everything from old S24 Ultra to my phone. And needs to re-enter every password - fragile, didnt do anything and there is a noise when open and closing the fold inside. - No more s-pen support, was thinking about editing pdf and stuff. Overall, good quality, good camera, using education discount etc got to arounds 2.3k, worth the value.

I got this as an upgrade to a previous Samsung fold, and this new Fold8 Ultra is a big improvement over older folds as soon as you pick it up! The folding mechanism seems more sturdy, the crease on the inner screen is basically non-existent during typical usage, and the phone is so light! It's amazing that this is so much more improved than other folding phones while being so slim and nice to hold and easy to read. I've been putting it through its paces with gaming a lot as well, and the battery has held strong and barely drains compared to previous models. This is a seriously good phone, and if you enjoyed previous folding phones - you'll love this one.

I chose to upgrade because the size, battery, and internals were all major upgrades and I couldn't be happier. I mainly watch videos on my phone but with the new cameras I am excited to be able to take much better and high quality photos. I was blown away by the difference in weight and thickness of the phone and how much nicer it is it have a more traditional sized screen comparable to other candy bar phones while still being able to use the internal screen. Needless to say I plan on continuing to use the z fold line up as long as they are made.

I chose the Fold Ultra 8 for my newer version, and it is a wonderful product. It has the same basic features as the 6, but with great improvements. The phone is thinner, lighter, has a bigger screen, and new features. I have enjoyed working more with Gemini to accomplish a few tasks quicker and can't wait to spend a little more time exploring. There are some new features with photos, circle and search, and many AI features. I highly recommend any Z series Fold, but especially the Ultra 8.

They have lessened the crease, put better cameras in and it comes with the latest android software. I have been a Fold user since the Fold 3 and I don't see myself going back. I use the multitasking split screen feature almost everyday. The phone is buttery smooth and feels like a normal candy bar phone when Folded. I am really enjoying my experience with this phone and I'm still learning how to take and edit pictures in a more creative way. The new edit feature that allows you to edit photos and video along with the new filters allow you to create some really cool looking media.

When it arrived, I was FLOORED by how light and how thin it is! I also REALLY like the way it opens, with almost a snap, and the crease is BARELY there! I'm extremely happy with how bright it is, how quick it charges, and let's face it, it's a conversation starter as well! I chose the Violet Shadow and it's a BEAUTIFUL color. With 1 Terabyte of space, I expect to be able to take a TON of images, and they are sure to be beautiful consider it's a 200 megapixels! This is the BEST foldable there is, hands down! Samsung does it again!

This phone has allowed me to multi cast and 2 both at the same time. 80% or more of the day is me being on my phone for work when I'm away from the desk. The battery last all day and the quality and brightness of the screen allows for me to do everything I can do on a computer to now do it on the phone. Outside of work I play racing games and gotcha games with the large screen size and the response time are on par with playing on a pc. This phone allows for me to control my house ecosystem.

I eventually became frustrated with the poor camera, awkward front screen size, and ever-worsening crease. So I left. But I'm back now with the 8 Ultra. Front screen problem? Gone, this aspect ratio is the perfect blend of normal candy-bar style without being too wide. Camera issues? These are flagship cameras for a flagship phone (finally!). And the crease? Barely noticeable, especially when consuming content. I fell in love with foldables for the incredible productivity and now it works great for everyday family use as well. I cannot recommend this phone enough!

I choose this one sleek and very responsive new samsung Z fold8 ultra on my recent upgrade and it does not disappoint. My phone usage goes along the lines of calls, text, photos, videos and games. In each category I have not had a single complaint. It's features and speed are awesome, The clarity of the photos combined with the zoom in ability has helped me on a few occasions to be able to find cracks that i had not noticed with nacked eye. The Ai features is incredible. The phone is easier to open. It's an amazing and incredible device. I'm still learning all the cool features but so far i am obsessed.

With the Z Fold 7 I thought there wasn't really much for Samsung to improve but again they have. The 8 is even thinner which is wild. Literally as thin as the usb c plug. Wondering if the future will be no charge port and just have wireless charging or maybe so new tech will come out. The upgrade to the battery capacity and upgraded cameras are awesome. Overall its been great and I love multi-tasking on my phone for work and personal items. I consistently get ask by random people what phone I have and how I like it. While the changes weren't huge, the refinements are definitely there and make this device a joy to use. The redesigned hinge and sides make it much easier to open and use. While the thinnes changed slightly, you can feel it - it feels impossibly thin and it's truly an engineering feat. The displays are bright and honestly, overall, this is an incredible phone to use. Day to day operations, multitasking, gaming, watching content - all great experiences. This is my fifth folding device and will continue using them. OneUI is just right! Very happy with my purchase.

My last fold was the Z Fold 3. I switched back to the S series as the Fold was a bit lacking in some specs. I started to miss the bigger screen. I saw the major improvement to front screen aspect ratio and thickness in the Z Fold 7 and was super keen. Z Fold 8 Ultra continued the upgrades and made the crease less noticeable so I immediately pre ordered. Been using it for 2 weeks now and even my partner, who's using a non-android device (iykyk) is jealous. Super happy but also super excited at the direction samsung folds are going. The standard Fold 8 also doesnt fall far behind so I'm keen to try that a few generations in.
