I LOVE THIS PHONE. If you are like me and keep your phone in your back pocket, this is the phone for you. I was pleasantly surprised at all the great features from just the small front folded screen. Alot of times I don't even need to open my phone. Battery is lasting way longer than my previous phone. Which was a note 20 . Excellent choice

I am unfamiliar with the Flip 7 and if it has a big difference compared to the 8 but there are differences compared to the 6! The best feature in my opinion is the ability to use the half screen more. Being able to open apps, and other use that screen more without having to open the whole fun is a game changer. I haven't really used the new camera feature they boast about but I do think it's cool. Another thing to mention is that it did get bigger and more rectangular which doesn't bother me. I really like the phone and I do hope Samsung continues to come out with more features and upgrades to the flip just like they do with the folds!!

I chose this flip phone as it's something different and unique and also really like the pink color it comes in. In my previous phones, I haven't had the option to personalize it as I've had with this phone. I enjoy being able to use the cover screen to do so many things. In the past I've always had to find something to prop my phone on to watch videos and now I'm able to open the phone halfway to use the cover screen and it stands on its own. Overall, it's been a learning curve as this phone operates quite differently as what I've been used to but it's been fun learning and customizing everything which makes the phone feel more personal to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Galaxy Z Flip8 is everything I hoped for. I chose the Z Flip series because of its compact size. The Z Flip5 was the first one I owned, and I hadn't upgraded until now. This new model is much thinner and a little wider. It's an obvious improvement over three generations, so it feels great and is noticeably faster. The battery lasts much longer, which is very important to me because I use my phone for work. The camera is also an improvement, although I wish it were as good as the Galaxy Note's. Still, the compact size is what matters most to me. I can't give a complete review of the phone yet because I just started using it, but it's definitely a huge improvement over my last one.

The durability also feels better. The responsiveness feels similar to the old models but the outter screen is more useful. All in all a great phone.

I absolutely love the flip series. I was previously an Ultra user but switched when they launched the flip 3. I love having an incredible camera and not losing any screen size while enjoying the convenience of the small size for putting it in my pocket!

I purchased this phone last week. It is very slim and lightweight. Battery is good and phone speed is also good. Display is very smooth and device appears dutable. It does not heat and the folding joint works very smooth.

I talked him into switching and he's been very happy so glad I chose to get it for him. He mentions a feature he likes about his phone almost daily. I love flip because it fits in all my small purses and my pocket in my scrubs. I have noticed a much faster processing capacity and smoother opening from beinf closed. I was hesistant to upgrade this time around since I knew there weren't a lot of changes made from Z flip 7 which I most recently had. But I'm glad I chose to upgrade since this one feels better in a lot of ways: processing speed, weight, screen folding etc. I'm excited to explore more of this phone and get more out of it. This is my 4th Z Flip the size is perfect for pockets, the main screen is protected by the clam fold it's lighter, the hinge is smoother, the "crease" is almost non existent! Colours are better this year too. Linked to all my other devices seamlessly especially my Mini! Battery also lasting longer, always use battery protection so never charge beyond 85% you can now choose your protection level also. Much more responsive and love the prompt features and AI spam alerts. It feels slimmer but still durable and substantial. You won't be disappointed!

Even when I'm working, I can slightly flip the phone and keep it for video mode on without having to rely on anything else. My hands don't get tired of holding the phone. Overall greatly enhanced experience! Able to do a lot more on cover screen and the device is thinner and lighter (slightly wider, though). The screen quality is also noticeably better. I chose the Z Flip series over Razr because I'm more used to the Samsung system. I'm so happy they finally expanded the cover screen to surround the camera lenses on the Flip 7 and 8 like the Razr series has had for yesrs already.

Been using my new Galaxy Z Flip 8 for almost 2 weeks now and I absolutely LOVE it!! The 8 does have decent updates; however, these updates are more so for convenience rather than needs for increased usability. For me personally, I could've gone without the upgrade to the 8. I only upgraded due to the rumors of this being the last flip so I wanted to make sure I had the latest version if this were to be true. I think if you enjoy the flip 7 and don't need or can't afford the upgrade, then you're good and aren't missing out on much.

I like the minimalist feature of the Z flip series but moving to the new 8 series was a great move. I chose this phone because of the upgrades. I noticed right away when I turned on the phone the screen was much brighter and clearer. The new Snapdragon chip is the icing on the cake. This phone is fast and fits my everyday tasks and works well with my business and personal tasks.

It's completely smooth and a visually stunning display. The move to make the front screen the entire front cover and more functional was the right choice. Time will tell if the screen holds up better than the 5, but overall the phone feels less fragile while also being sleeker. While it is larger than the Z Flip 5, it is thinner and still fits in the teeny tiny pockets they put on women's clothing. The camera quality is great and I can open multiple apps and stream or use Android Auto without the phone overheating. The battery seems to last significantly longer too. After a full day of use I'm at 71% compared to around 40% on my old phone.

It was very easy to transfer my information from my Samsung Galaxy s26 to the new flip 8. My husband really appreciated the model and is going to get an upgrade as well. I wish that the pictures did look better or clearer on this phone and I have a hard time pressing keys on the keyboard I am assuming because of the gorilla glass is thick and doesn't recognize I have to tap more than once. I Googled to see if anyone else had the same issues and Samsung recommended to change the settings to make it easier but that has not fixed the issue. Overall I am very happy with this phone I got a good deal sending in my s26 and hope that in the future they improve the camera. Lucky for me I am not a blogger.

So I get the best of both worlds. I really enjoy the front screen for quick peak at emails, messages and apps. This zflip8 really makes mobility with connection a must have. I feel free from from what seemed liked carrying a brick from the previous phones. They would stick out of your pocket with a bulky inconvenient carry. Very pleased with with this purchase so happy now.

In older model it was just the phone which was just foldable from middle, but this flip 8 is completely awesome. It has very good screen to body ratio and especially outer small screen is what i like about. It takes less battery and just fit perfect in my hand. All in all it is very good phone worth the wait and price.

It's a bit wider and thinner than the older model I had, which makes it a bit easier for me to hold onto in the closed position. I've also really liked the improvements that they have made to the screen and hinge, which I believe will dramatically decrease the chance of scratching and damage to the surface screen and LCD. Overall, I love my new flip and am very glad I chose to upgrade!

My previous phone to the flip 8 was the 5, and wow, what an upgrade! I'm so glad I chose to spend the extra money and spring for the 8 instead of the 7. The processor is so much faster, the camera is better, honestly the whole experience makes my old phone feel like it was slow and clunky. Obviously I've only had a day with my new phone, but first impressions are fantastic.
