[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra for a while now and honestly, I am really impressed with it. Display is one of my favourite things. It is bright, sharp and the big inner screen makes watching videos and doing work much more enjoyable. Battery life has also been better than I expected. With normal daily use, I can get through most of the day without worrying about charging.Performance feels very smooth too, even when I have several apps open at the same time. I was a little unsure about the Hinge at first, but it feels strong and well made. The phone also feels more solid than I expected, which gives me confidence about Durability for everyday use. There is a small learning curve because it is different from a normal phone, but after using it for a few days, I got used to it quickly. Overall, it feels like a premium phone that is actually useful.

It looks gorgeous, feels so stylish and is such a fun phone to use. The camera quality is AMAZING! 📸 The photos are so clear, sharp and full of detail, and I’m really impressed with how good they look even when zooming in. This is definitely one of my favourite things about the phone. I also absolutely love being able to use the screen when the phone is folded. I can answer calls, check messages and do so much without even having to flip it open, which is honestly so convenient! The responsiveness is brilliant too — everything feels quick and smooth. The hinge feels really sturdy and smooth when opening and closing, and the crease is much less noticeable than I expected. Now I have to use my phone at work I was over the moon when they brought out the flip phone. The full back display and cameras being on the same surface allows for photography moments that no other smartphone series does. The Z Flip8 feels lighter and yet more durable than it's predecessors and after double checking right now... The main screen 'crease' is nowhere to be seen. The only place where the phone feels lacking is it's battery performance. It's not bad by any means but is also nothing to write home about and will need a charge before the day is up as well as overnight. Genuinely a fun and functional flip phone - would recommend!

She was completely blown away the second she opened it. The thin design when folded makes it feel just like a normal phone, but opening it up into that huge screen is pure magic. One thing we didn't expect to use so much is all the health and wellness tracking features. Having such a big screen makes looking at continuous heart rate data, sleep scores, and daily health metrics so much easier to read without squinting. During online GP appointments, being able to split the screen—having the video call on one side and taking notes or checking lab results on the other—has been an absolute life saver for keeping track of our family’s health care options. The screen brightness is unreal outside, the battery easily lasts us all day, and everything runs lightning fast. It’s easily the best tech purchase I’ve made in years. I wanted to use it a couple weeks before I had a verdict and honestly I love it. I really enjoy all the different ways you can use the flip and find myself using the front screen for more than I thought I would. I love the fingerprint scanner it's so fast and the screen when open is perfect for my Netflix. The fact that I can flip it closed and it will fit in my shirt pocket just is so helpful when my hands are full. I had the option to switch back if I wanted to for cheaper to a bar type phone and I decided nope I just like the flip too much.

The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

I am unfamiliar with the Flip 7 and if it has a big difference compared to the 8 but there are differences compared to the 6! The best feature in my opinion is the ability to use the half screen more. Being able to open apps, and other use that screen more without having to open the whole fun is a game changer. I haven't really used the new camera feature they boast about but I do think it's cool. Another thing to mention is that it did get bigger and more rectangular which doesn't bother me. I really like the phone and I do hope Samsung continues to come out with more features and upgrades to the flip just like they do with the folds!!

I chose this flip phone as it's something different and unique and also really like the pink color it comes in. In my previous phones, I haven't had the option to personalize it as I've had with this phone. I enjoy being able to use the cover screen to do so many things. In the past I've always had to find something to prop my phone on to watch videos and now I'm able to open the phone halfway to use the cover screen and it stands on its own. The Z Flip5 was the first one I owned, and I hadn't upgraded until now. This new model is much thinner and a little wider. It's an obvious improvement over three generations, so it feels great and is noticeably faster. The battery lasts much longer, which is very important to me because I use my phone for work. The camera is also an improvement, although I wish it were as good as the Galaxy Note's. Still, the compact size is what matters most to me. I can't give a complete review of the phone yet because I just started using it, but it's definitely a huge improvement over my last one.

I talked him into switching and he's been very happy so glad I chose to get it for him. He mentions a feature he likes about his phone almost daily. At just 201g, it's the lightest book-style foldable yet and feels much more pocketable. Folded: Wide and compact like a passport — the 5.5-inch cover screen is way more usable one-handed for texting, scrolling, and quick tasks. Unfolded: The 7.6-inch inner screen has a near 4:3 ratio that's excellent for videos, YouTube, Netflix, and browsing with fewer black bars. The crease is much less noticeable thanks to new Flex Titanium tech, and the hinge feels solid. It’s fun to open and close. Some people might still find the thickness or sharp corners slightly awkward in tight pockets, but overall it's a huge improvement in everyday comfort.

What I like most is that it feels like having a smartphone and a small tablet in one device. Samsung has done a great job making the phone feel premium, practical and innovative. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from a Fold 5, this feels like a completely different class of phone. Battery life is the biggest change: my Fold 5 would barely make it through a full day, and I was always hunting for a charger by evening. The Fold 8 Ultra actually holds up. The hinge is noticeably smoother, and the main screen crease is much better than the Fold 5's, still visible if you're looking for it, but a real improvement. Responsiveness is a smaller difference, but it's there; everything just feels a touch snappier day to day. The thing I like most, though, is the wider cover screen. On the Fold 5, typing out a quick WhatsApp reply on the outside screen felt cramped, so I'd end up unfolding the phone way more than I should've just to reply to something simple. The Fold 8 Ultra's wider cover screen makes typing and quick replies feel natural without opening it, a small change that makes a real difference day to day. I've only had the 8 Ultra a week, so I can't speak to long-term durability first-hand yet. But I had my Fold 5 since launch with zero issues, so if the 8 Ultra holds up anywhere near as well, I'll be more than happy.
This phone is awesome for my videos, the new design really allowed me to put in pocket easier as well. Easily long hours usage, bigger battery and longer usage time.

Many things were improved in the Ford 8 ultra relative to the previous generation plus the camera battery or charging But when it comes to the competition of Chinese smartphones, it's not stety samsung a little pale appearance. I hope that not long will samsung improve it but I really like these phones so I bought it soft and the software at the highest level as to the quality of the screen is good but it could have been better. I also have a samsung s 26 ultra and I have the impression that the screen there is a little better so not exactly samsung tried Ala despite the weak minuses samsung zfold 8 ultra is a great phone and good refined and I am very pleased with it, there is a big improvement in terms of the previous generation and this is very cool

When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

Watching YouTube videos on a larger screen and playing a few mobile games on the big screen also helps with eye strains. However, as a nitpick, I do wish the front screen was a bit bigger. I understand it would cost more, which means I will need to pay more, but I wouldn't mind it if I also get a decently bigger screen on the front. I upgraded from the S24 Ultra, so I still need to get used to the smaller screen and smaller keyboard. For a guy with big-ish hands, the small keyboard does annoy me a bit. But I guess that's a skill issue😆

The Vodafone store even told me I was the first person to pick one up from them, which was pretty cool! The phone is incredibly fast and smooth, especially when multitasking. The camera has been a big improvement and takes great photos and videos. The crease is also much less noticeable. I’ve also been impressed with the AI capabilities. There are plenty of useful features that actually make everyday tasks easier rather than just feeling like a gimmick. I’m very happy with the upgrade, I've had the fold 1, 2, 5 and now the 8 ultra. This has been by far the best one!

I love flip because it fits in all my small purses and my pocket in my scrubs. I have noticed a much faster processing capacity and smoother opening from beinf closed. I was hesistant to upgrade this time around since I knew there weren't a lot of changes made from Z flip 7 which I most recently had. But I'm glad I chose to upgrade since this one feels better in a lot of ways: processing speed, weight, screen folding etc. I'm excited to explore more of this phone and get more out of it. This is my 4th Z Flip the size is perfect for pockets, the main screen is protected by the clam fold it's lighter, the hinge is smoother, the "crease" is almost non existent! Colours are better this year too. Linked to all my other devices seamlessly especially my Mini! Battery also lasting longer, always use battery protection so never charge beyond 85% you can now choose your protection level also. Much more responsive and love the prompt features and AI spam alerts. It feels slimmer but still durable and substantial. You won't be disappointed!

Even when I'm working, I can slightly flip the phone and keep it for video mode on without having to rely on anything else. My hands don't get tired of holding the phone. Plus Z flip 8 has some a cute feature of choosing multiple pictures for the lock screen, which helps me put pictures of my loved ones and reminds me of them whenever I look at my phone. The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

Overall greatly enhanced experience! Able to do a lot more on cover screen and the device is thinner and lighter (slightly wider, though). The screen quality is also noticeably better. I chose the Z Flip series over Razr because I'm more used to the Samsung system. I'm so happy they finally expanded the cover screen to surround the camera lenses on the Flip 7 and 8 like the Razr series has had for yesrs already.

In older model it was just the phone which was just foldable from middle, but this flip 8 is completely awesome. I've had it for a few days now and what's immediately impressive is the speed of connectivity and app loading. Also I have found the multiscreen feature very useful. The display is definitely better and I can hardly tell there's a crease in the fold now. They've really improved reducing annoying light reflection on the screen so I'm not having to angle the phone away from light. This model is so much slimmer and lighter and the hinge feature makes opening out and closing much easier. The battery life is is very good if you're not heavily on your device all day. Charging doesn't seem that much faster than my previous model. The camera provides noticeable sharper detail. The one minus is that my S Pen is now redundant that was really useful with the previous models! Apart from that, I'd say this model is well worth the upgrade.

The 8 does have decent updates; however, these updates are more so for convenience rather than needs for increased usability. For me personally, I could've gone without the upgrade to the 8. I only upgraded due to the rumors of this being the last flip so I wanted to make sure I had the latest version if this were to be true. I think if you enjoy the flip 7 and don't need or can't afford the upgrade, then you're good and aren't missing out on much.

I saw the major improvement to front screen aspect ratio and thickness in the Z Fold 7 and was super keen. Z Fold 8 Ultra continued the upgrades and made the crease less noticeable so I immediately pre ordered. Been using it for 2 weeks now and even my partner, who's using a non-android device (iykyk) is jealous. Super happy but also super excited at the direction samsung folds are going. I like the minimalist feature of the Z flip series but moving to the new 8 series was a great move. I chose this phone because of the upgrades. I noticed right away when I turned on the phone the screen was much brighter and clearer. The new Snapdragon chip is the icing on the cake. This phone is fast and fits my everyday tasks and works well with my business and personal tasks.
