New intuitive FlexWindow on Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8

The updated FlexWindow on the new Galaxy Z Flip8 allows you to instantly launch supported apps, manage widgets, and check notifications right from the cover screen. Whether you need to quickly add to your Calendar schedule or manage urgent calls on the go, you can customise your cover screen experience to access key features without unfolding your device.

Note: Third-party app support is subject to expansion.

Add up to 5 of your favourite apps that you want to access from the FlexWindow. You can remove or rearrange the apps directly from the cover screen.

Note: Some apps may not be supported on FlexWindow.

Step 1. Swipe in any direction on the cover screen to unlock.

Step 2. To rearrange the apps, long press the app and drag to the desired location.

Step 3. To add or remove apps, long press anywhere on the screen > Tap Edit.

Step 4. Select an app from the list to add or tap the Minus icon to remove an app > Tap Done.

Step 5. View your selected apps on the FlexWindow.

Add and customise widgets you want to access on FlexWindow directly from your cover screen.

Step 1. Swipe in any direction on the cover screen to unlock.

Step 2. To rearrange existing widgets, long press the widget and move to the desired position.

Step 3. Long press anywhere in the empty space outside of the widgets > Tap the Minus icon to remove a widget.

Step 4. Swipe left to move all the way to the end > Tap the plus icon to add a widget.

Step 5. Select your desired widget and style > Tap Add.

You can access the notifications and Quick settings panel without unfolding your device.
